WBA1-75-SC The WBA1-75-SC has been specifically designed to meet the exacting requirements of Wind Turbine rotor braking applications, where guaranteed stopping and holding performance is required in both emergency and routine maintenance situations. The WBA1-75-SC is designed for gearbox mounting and features a floating brake caliper. This enables the brake to self-centre on the brake disc during operation, catering for axial displacements in the drive train. Constructed from ductile cast iron, the WBA1-75-SC has a single 75 mm diameter piston, features a proprietary piston seal and protection boot design, and is fitted with thrust plates, lining wear indicators and a position backstop as standard.
