Governance Indicators World Map: Voice & Accountability Voice and Accountability is one of the six Governance Indicators, and refers to the extent to which citizens of a country are able to participate in the selection of governments, as well as freedom of expression, association and in the media. Source for data and detailed country ratings: 'Governance Matters IV: Governance Indicators for 1996-2004,by D. Kaufmann, A.Kraay and M. Mastruzzi, www.worldbank.org/wbi/governance. This governance map depicts most recent data, up to end-2004.
