Q 1 Existing Conditions: - Three hundred and twenty nine Energy Audits conducted by the PREAA in all our properties. - Most Exterior Lighting Systems are Metal Halide, High Pressure Sodium and High Pressure Mercury Lamps. These are low energy saving Efficient Lighting. There Life Span is between 6000 to 24,000 work hours. - Most units Lighting were Incandescent Lamps. There Life Span is 750 to 1,200 hours. - There was no Educational Campaign for the residents nor the Administration Staff prior September 2009. Q 2 Controllables Factors : - Energy Educational Campaign already offered to all Eleven (11) Managements Agents and Fifteen (15) Municipalities Staff that has the Public Housing Projects Administration. - An Energy Plan was prepared individually by all 329 PHA S. - Energy Educational Campaign offered to the following Municipalities: Manati ( Brisas de Campo Alegre, Los Murales, Enrique Zorilla), Camuy ( Manuel Rosario Adames), San Sebastian ( Andres Mendez Liceaga) and Luquillo (Yuquillu II). - An Energy Audit Report was performed by the PREAA & submitted to HUD on the 8/ 19 / 2009. - Establishment of a Predictive Management System was established in 118 projects where CFL s were installed. UnControllables Factors: - Staff & Resident s compromise to work along with the PRPHA Energy Reduction s Plan. - Meter Banks malfunction AEE AAA - Q 3 PRPHA Goals - The main goal is to reduce KWH Consumption of Common Areas in a 10% in a period no longer than five years. - Q4 Budget Analysis of 329 Physical Needs Assessment - Beginning the 28 th of February of 2010 the PNA S of 329 projects will be analyzed for the Energy Reduction Program Funding -
