Simplicity & Reliability Mini-grids consist of electricity generators and/or energy storage systems interconnected to a distribution network that supplies electricity to the final consumer. The electricity off-takers such as households and businesses are guaranteed reliable, affordable energy supply through the utilization of renewable energy sources and energy storage technologies. Mini-grids provide electricity in rural and remote areas, where populations are dispersed, per capita electricity consumption is low and extension of the centralized electricity network is not financially feasible. The mini -grids are designed to operate autonomously from the centralized electricity network playing a key role in the decentralized/ distributed energy generation segment. The mini-grids could also resolve problems of unreliable centralized grid through decoupling the energy generation from the central grid and using it only as an input when available. 2 3

How it works Our plug & play containerized modular solutions, with output power that reaches up to 60 kw (for a 20 container) and up to 120kW (for a 40 container), include the necessary power conversion modules (Exeron) and the battery cells to accommodate the project s needs. They can be installed in parallel in order to match the required power output of the mini grid project. Our solution includes the design and supply of the PV modules and/or diesel generator sets that will provide the input power. Connection to the existing or future grid at the input to the mini-grid is also an option. We provide modular, scalable turn-key solutions with minimum maintenance requirements based on cutting edge technology (hot swap modules, advanced battery management) in order to help our customers deliver reliable and affordable off grid power.
