E-Mobility Trainings Handling electric drives safely Electric vehicle drives are gaining ground in both hybrid and pure electric vehicles. Voltage peaks of up to 1,000 volts can occur in these drives. Therefore, it is crucial that technicians working in workshops or for automotive manufacturers know how to handle high-voltage systems safely. TÜV SÜD Academy qualifications take the demanding requirements of E-Mobility into account. Determining an individual s exact training requirements is a complicated matter that depends on the qualification level and the activities each individual performs. Depending on requirements and prior knowledge, we teach employees how to carry out non-electrical work on high-voltage systems safely, how to carry out electrical work in the deenergized state or the specific requirements for live working. What E-Mobility trainings does TÜV SÜD Akademie provide? We offer a modular training scheme. The content can be divided into three levels that cover non-electrical work, electrical work (disconnected) and live working. All types of training include examinations. 03
Nonelectrical working Area Electrical working in the de-energized state Live working Employee prior knowledge Electrical layperson Automotive knowledge Electrician or electrician for high-voltage systems in vehicles TÜV SÜD Academy training Sensitization for Safe Work on Motor Vehicles with HV Systems Training as Qualified Electrician for HV Systems in Motor Vehicles Live Working for Qualified Electricians for HV Systems in Motor Vehicles Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 04
Sensitization for Safe Work on Motor Vehicles with HV Systems Self-learning program Almost all auto repair shops will have to handle hybrid or electric vehicles sooner or later. Those working with such vehicles with high voltage systems must be aware of their potential dangers and possible protective measures. This applies to all employees i.e. not just mechanics in the repair shop, but also the cleaning staff and office workers who might come into contact with the vehicles. With our practical, web-based self-learning program employees will be aware of the dangers associated with HV systems and how to provide first aid in an emergency. The program includes several comprehension tests and the final certificate serves as proper documentation of the participant s ability to carefully handle risks concerning the dangers of motor vehicles with HV systems. Contents Layout of a high voltage system Dangers of electric current Accident prevention measures First aid measures for accidents in the electro-technology field Technical safeguards Knowledge tests Location Online Duration 1 course unit (approx. 45 minutes) Who should attend All employees without electrotechnology training who might come into contact with automobiles with high voltage systems 05
