19 TAN SRI NIK MOHAMED BIN NIK YAACOB YBhg Tan Sri Nik Mohamed, 57, a Malaysian, is a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director and the Chairman of Scomi Marine Bhd. He was appointed to the Board on 23 September 2005. YBhg Tan Sri Nik Mohamed holds an Engineering Degree from Monash University and a Masters in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management. He served as the Group Chief Executive of Sime Darby Berhad from 1993 until his retirement in June 2004, and also served on the Boards of many of the Sime Darby group companies during this time. Other Malaysian public companies in which he is a director are Perbadanan Nasional Berhad, GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad, Bolton Berhad, Scomi Group Bhd and Supercomal Technologies Berhad. YBhg Tan Sri Nik Mohamed is also the Executive Director of Yayasan Kepimpinan Perdana (Perdana Leadership Foundation). MEER SADIK BIN HABIB MOHAMED Encik Meer Sadik Habib, 44, a Malaysian, is a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Scomi Marine Bhd and was appointed to the Board on 19 November 1997 following the corporate exercise in which he played an instrumental role. Encik Meer was also responsible for the development of the jewellery business previously undertaken by the Group and for listing the aforementioned on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. He graduated from Wichita State University, United States of America, with a Degree in Business Administration, and later qualified as a gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America. Encik Meer is a Past President of the Young Entrepreneurs Organisation and was the Governor of the Alice Smith School. 21 VICE ADMIRAL DATO HARON BIN DATO (DR) MOHD SALLEH (Rtd) YBhg Vice Admiral Dato Haron, 64, a Malaysian, is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Scomi Marine Bhd and was appointed to the Board on 23 September 2005. YBhg Vice Admiral Dato Haron began his basic cadet training at the Federation Military College Malaysia and continued his training as Naval Officer at the Britannia Royal Navy College, United Kingdom and the Royal Navy. He held various senior positions in the Royal Malaysian Navy such as Fleet Operations Commander in the rank of Rear Admiral, Deputy Chief of Navy and Assistant Chief of Staff of the Malaysian Armed Forces HQ. He was promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral on assuming the appointment of Chief of Staff, Malaysian Armed Forces HQ in 1994 and retired in December 1995. 23 MOK YUEN LOK Mr. Mok, 47, a Malaysian, is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Scomi Marine Bhd and was appointed to the Board on 29 March 2002. He chairs the Audit and Risk Management Committee, and is also a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committees with effect from 21 November 2006. Mr. Mok graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, and qualified as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 1989 under articleship with Ernst & Young. He is now the Country Managing Partner of Horwath, an international accounting firm, and was recently appointed as the Regional Executive Director for the Asia Pacific region of Horwath International. He is the Chapter Chair of the Young Presidents Organization, Malaysia Chapter, a council member and Hon. Secretary of Hospis Malaysia, and a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization, Malaysia Chapter. He is also Audit Committee Chairman and Independent Director of IMU Education Sdn Bhd (which owns and operates the International Medical University), and Goodway Integrated Industries Bhd, a Second Board manufacturing company listed on Bursa Malaysia. CHEAK BOON HENG Mr. Cheak, 64, a Malaysian, is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Scomi Marine Bhd and was appointed to the Board on 7 December 2006. He was an alternate director to Mr. Peh Kwee Chim until 7 December 2006. Mr. Cheak graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor Degree in Economics. He was appointed as an Executive Director of CH Offshore Ltd ( CHO ) in 1991, Executive Vice Chairman from 1 July 2004 to 1 February 2005 and as an Executive 17 October 2005. As Executive Chairman, he was responsible for charting the strategic development and long term direction of the CHO Group. Mr. Cheak is now a Non- Executive Director of CHO. Mr. Cheak joined the Chuan Hup Holdings Limited ( CHH ) Group in 1973 and was an Executive Director of CHH from 1981 until February 2003. As director of CHH he was responsible for the marketing and business development of the CHH Group. Mr. Cheak is a member of the C hairman from 1 February 2005 to Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Board with effect from 7 December 2006. SHAH HAKIM BIN ZAIN Encik Shah Hakim, 42, a Malaysian, is the Chief Executive Officer/Non-Independent Executive Director of Scomi Marine Bhd and was appointed to the Board on 23 September 2003. Encik Shah Hakim started his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young and was subsequently promoted as Consulting Manager, responsible for servicing large corporations. He went on to be appointed as Executive Director of a regional packaging manufacturer in 1992, with direct operational responsibility. He currently sits on the Board of Sapura Industrial Berhad, Scomi Group Bhd, Scomi Engineering Bhd and KMCOB Capital Berhad. Encik Shah Hakim is a member of the Options Committee of the Board with effect from 21 November 2006. He attended all of the 6 Board Meetings held in the year ended 31 December 2006.
