General Guidelines: All files should be built in 4-color (CMYK) mode only. Set up large areas of black coverage with the following values: 60 cyan, 40 magenta, 40 yellow, 100 black. Small black text (under 18 pt) and rules (under 6 point) should be left 100% black only. Export an Adobe PDF from your InDesign file. This function can be found under File-->Export in InDesign. You can find instructions in the Quick Start section of the GreenerPrinter PDF Creation Guide: https://www.greenerprinter. com/pdf-creation-guide Using this Template: This template contains several layers, most of which are self-explanatory. Please delete the Template - Do Not Use layer when you no longer need it. You can also toggle off/ delete Holidays or Lunar Symbols layers. Stapled books can only have a page count that is divisible by four, so this template has 28 pages (we will delete this instruction page before printing) The two blank extra pages can be used in the beginning or the middle (with the ability to make a vertical spread) or the end. They can be used at your discretion for note pages, advertising, conversion and measurement charts, etc. If you want to change the color scheme, just edit the color Swatches Calendar and CalendarSmall. These will instantly be applied to every month. I you want to change the fonts, edit the Paragraph Style Typeface. In the Basic Character Formats section, change Font Family. These changes will instantly be applied to every month. You can, of course, manually edit anything within the calendars. The calendars are tables, so editing is a little different than editing text boxes. Guides: Because small variations in printing, folding and trimming can result in shifts of the art of up to 1/16", any art that will print to the edge of the sheet must be extended 1/8", which is the red line outside of the page. This is called bleed. For the same reason, type should be no closer than 1/8" from the trim, and borders should be no smaller than 1/8". This is called safety. This is the drill hole location:
