Boom vane The boom vane can be used to deploy containment or diversion boom in a current. The vane is made fast to an anchor point and the water current forces it away from the point of deployment. An operator can move the boom vane across the current by triggering a trip wire. Air monitoring equipment Chadux maintains a capability to monitor for life-threatening atmospheric situations- lack of oxygen, explosive environments, and concentrations of carbon monoxide or hydrogen sulfide. Vessels of Opportunity Chadux employs Vessels of Opportunity (VOO) to transport and deploy response equipment. VOOs are spill response platforms (not simply crew transport) with trained crew members.
