4 RTD FasTracks Program Status Update

Denver Union Station Multimodal hub integrating light rail, commuter rail, Amtrak, buses, taxis, shuttles, bikes and pedestrians Redevelopment is a cooperative effort between RTD, Colorado Dept. of Transportation, City and County of Denver, and Denver Regional Council of Governments Complete in 2014 5

Denver Union Station DUS serves as the hub of the FasTracks program to expand rail and bus service throughout the RTD service area DUS will provide a new RTD bus facility, relocated LRT station, and a new CRT terminal serving both RTD and Amtrak Overall Project Completion: 45% LRT Completion: 97% CRT Completion: 20% Bus Area Completion: 47% Recently successfully completed the cutover to the new LRT platform adjacent to the CML, RTD s most challenging cutover to date 6 Streets & Plaza Completion: 48%

West Rail Line 12.1 miles light rail Connects downtown Denver, Jefferson County, Lakewood and Golden Complete in 2013 7

8 West Rail Line Status Project being completed on-time and within established project budget On June 6, Sheridan Boulevard was opened to its final configuration Schedule moving forward: Now Summer 2012: Civil construction continues July 31: New Federal Center station opened Mid-2011 Spring 2013: Wadsworth/Sheridan garages being designed and built Now December 2012: Systems construction January May 2013: RTD integrated testing May 2013: West Rail Line opens
