PAGE 2 076/3211036 General Tools needed for installing the LPG tank : - Soldering iron - Tube-flaring tool - Drilling machine - Drilling kit - Drill size 30mm and 70 mm - Workshop tools. - Gas leak detection device - Vacuum cleaner - Anti-corrosion agent / black body coating - Car lift - Punching tool 70 mm Note the jack supporting points and moveable parts when mounting the LPG line. Remove the inner burrs after shortening the LPG line (to prevent the flow from being reduced). It is not permitted to have LPG lines routed through the passenger compartment or a closed cargo space. Place a rubber socket on the back of the outer filler. Seal the socket gastight on both sides. After having drilled holes ( use safety glasses ) for the mounting of a tank frame, floor ventilation, etc., always treat the holes against corrosion after having removed the grindings. Provide a thorough frame mounting on vehicles with a thin metal or wooden floor panel (vehicles with commercial registration). Secure the mountings to the vehicle frame and not to the floor. Treat the LPG tank when mounted under the car with a black body coating. Mount the LPG tank according to the local LPG regulations. The LPG installer is responsible for that. This manual is based on Dutch regulations. After having completed the installation, check the whole system for gas leakage; use a gas leak detection device. PAGE 4 076/3211036 PLACE LPG TANK The 2 LPG tanks coming in the seat box behind the front seats. Remove the floor cover. Remove carpeting in the seat box. Place the care on the bridge. Place the template under the care floor (see picture). Marker 2x the 7 holes. Place the template see picture to the rib. Remove the 2 circle in de middle template.
PAGE 5 076/3211036 Mark the drilling holes on the carpeting in the seat box. Make the corner holes Ø30mm. The 2 middle holesø38mm. The 1x hole Ø52mm. Do-it-yourself on the remote. Place the 2 spacer Ø40x70 in the holes (see picture) from the carpeting seat box. Do-it-yourself on the remote. Glue the cell rubber band un the mounting ring 2x. Place under the carpeting in the corner holes 4x sheet-metal rings. Place the carpeting back in the seat box. Place 4 threaded end M8x250 wiht 4 nuts in the 4 corner holes place the template under the out-side floor. Mounting wiht 4 lock nut. Do-it-yourself on the remote.
PAGE 6 076/3211036 1 WAY VALVE COUPLER Screw the two 1 way valves (6mm pipe) the blacking plug and the 8mm pipe apdapter in the coupler. Place the 1 way valve coupler (see picture). Mark the 2 holes. Drill the 2 holes Ø6mm. Mounting 2x M5x50 bolts 4x sheet-metal rings M5 2x nuts tighten. Sliding the 1 way valve coupler over the threaded end M5 bolts tighten the 1 way valve coupler wiht 2x lock nut. Out-side filler T-piece wiht 2x clip on filler hoses.
PAGE 7 076/3211036 Place the tanks in the care. Mount the pipe on the Multi valve the route is to the front of the care. Mounting the 4 threaded end with 8 lock nuts and 8 nuts. Place the tank bracket on the tank and screw the bracket with 4 lock nuts. Do-it-yourself on the remote Place the air blender in the tank with a O-ring. screw it fast. On the underside of the care is the air blender to long saw the air blender about 5mm is coming under the bottom. Metal-joint sealer the air blender. Do-it-yourself on the remote Make 2 pipe Ø6mm and 2 pipe Ø8mm. This pipe are 100 cm long.
PAGE 8 076/3211036 PLACE OUT SIDE FILLER Place the out-side filler in the left side bumper. Just about the bumpercurve. Drill a hole Ø70mm. Remove the plate of the top of the out-side filler hole (see picture). Mounting un the out-side filler a adapter nipple Ø8mm. Protect the out-side filler pipe wiht a protective conduit about +/-30 cm.
