The site sketch, page A4 of 6 shows a 1000 gallon tank 2. Section 2.2.9, page 61 Fuel System and Storage states a 1000 gallon tank 3. Section 2.2.9.1, page 61 Fuel Tank states a 2000 gallon tank requirement. 4. Figure 2.2 Underground LPG Tank Installation Drawing, page 62 shows a 2000 gallon tank 5. Table A.1, page 111 lists a 1000 gallon tank RESPONSE 1 See Scope of Services section 1.1 last paragraph. The Contractor shall perform the work based on the requirements of the site as delineated in Appendix A. In this case a 1000 gallon fuel tank is required.

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION A. 1 CARYVILLE SITE REQUIREMENTS THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT DEVIATE FROM THE SITE SPECIFICS WITHOUT WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION OF THE PROJECT MANAGER OR A DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE. The following items shall be furnished and installed at the Caryville site: A. One 35 KW (minimum) LP gas fueled emergency generator, 1000-gallon (minimum) below ground fuel tank, automatic transfer switch, and fuel level sensor, and associated SPD devices specified in this section. For commonality among other FDOT microwave site emergency generators in the District, the generator and transfer switch shall be Cummins 35GGPA and Cummins OTEC 125, respectively and the fuel level sensor shall be Squibb Taylor, Inc. Stationary Tank Monitor. The generator, fuel tank, and automatic transfer switch shall be installed as shown in Figures A.1. The tank and generator shall be located and installed in accordance with local building codes. The base of the generator shall be installed a minimum of two feet above grade. The Contractor shall wire all alarms to a Contractor s supplied punch block. The wiring shall be performed as listed in Figure 8.1 in Section 8. The Contractor shall power the generator s coolant heater from a Contractor provided circuit breaker. The circuit breaker shall be sized per the manufacturer s recommendation. B. Fencing for fuel tank enclosure in accordance with Section 2.6. New fencing and a gate shall be installed per Figure A.1. Clearing of existing shrubs and grubbing is required in the fenced area. A combination lock shall be installed on the new gate, Masterlock Model # 177. The Contractor shall coordinate with the FDOT Project Manager for establishing the combination of the lock. C. Install an AC power SPD in accordance with Section 2.4.1. The new SPD shall be Atlantic Scientific Zone Master 11200 as shown in Figures A2. The SPD shall be installed on the load side of the outdoor main breaker, located on the exterior North Wall of the Caryville communications shelter. The secondary main breaker on the exterior wall shall be removed and conduit shall be routed outdoor to interior Panel West. D. The Caryville site has an existing MOV/SAD hybrid SPD with surge counter connected to the existing ATS. This unit is to be connected to the load side of the new 125 Ampere Cummins ATS. Page A2 of A6
