If for any reason, the Disengaging Clutch is left operative in a Winch used under either of the above conditions, it is the responsibility of the user to make provision to prevent accidental operation of the Winch motor with the clutch disengaged. Operation of the motor with the clutch disengaged while holding a suspended load will allow the load to drop.
