Figure 4 Compress the tension clamp and retract it away from the vacuum port. Figure 5 Once the tension clamp has been removed continue to remove the vacuum line from the intake port. Figure 6 Figure 7 Figure 8 Loosen the air duct clamp located over the throttle body. Once you have loosened the clamp, continue to detach the air duct from the throttle body. Unlatch the two clips holding the upper air box to the lower box. The first metal clip is unlatched. Figure 9 Figure 10 Figure 11 The second clip is now unlatched The upper air box is now ready to be removed. Loosen the two screws located on the front air scoop. Figure 12 Once you have loosened the center screw on the clip, continue to pull the clips out. Figure 13 The front air scoop is now ready to be pulled out. The M6 flange nut is used to fasten the vibra-mount to the aluminum bracket. The vibra-mount is now attached to the bracket. Figure 21 The bracket assembly is lowered into the engine compartment. The upper intake is inserted into the throttle body hose. Page 3 of Part# SP1310 As the upper intake is inserted into the throttle body hose, The intake bracket is aligned to the vibramount stud. The intake bracket is now secured with an m6 flange nut and washer.

Converting the intake into a cold air intake, aligned and slip the 2 3/4 hose over the end of the intake. The clamp hose over the intake end is now tightened. Figure 41 Figure 42 Figure 43 The filter is now inserted into the driver side corner bumper, the filter neck is aligned to the intake. The filter is pressed over the end of the intake as shown above. Once the filter stops come to rest over the intake end, continue to tightened the filter neck. Figure 44 Congratulations! You have just completed the installation of one of the best air intake systems made.once the intake and heat shield has been properly adjusted, continue to tighten all nuts, bolts and clamps. Figure 45 Periodically, check the fitment of both intake systems. Normal driving conditions may loosen nuts, bolts and clamps causing intakes to shift resulting in damage to automotive parts. 1. Upon completion of the installation, reconnect the negative battery terminal before you start the engine. 2. Align the entire intake system for the best possible fit. Once the intake has been properly fitted continue to tighten all nuts, bolts and clamps. 3. Periodically, recheck the alignment of the intake system and make sure there is proper clearance around and along the length of the intake. Failure to follow proper mainentance procedures may cause damage to the intake and will void the warranty. 4. Start the engine and listen carefully for any odd noises, rattles and/or air leaks prior to taking it for a test drive. If any problems arise go back and check the vacuum lines, hoses and clamps that maybe causing leaks or rattles and correct the problem. 5. Check the filter for excessive dirt build up. Clean or replace the filter with an original Injen filter (can be bought on-line at injenonline.com ). Congratulations!
