WPERC Irrigation Engine Rebate Program Rules I. Participation and Limits The purchase of any equipment described herein does not automatically guarantee rebates and not all applicants will qualify. Propane companies and their employees are not eligible to receive incentives. Funding is limited and not all applications may be able to receive rebates. Participants must apply for rebates through their propane marketer or dealer and be in good standing with their marketer or dealer. Each participant making application is limited to five (5) rebates per year. The rebate is only available on new EPA and/or CARB certified models, which meet the criteria for inclusion in the chart of Section II below. The completed application must be submitted within 30 days of the engine installation date to qualify. Prior purchases of new engines over 30 days old will not qualify, although the WPERC may consider engines purchased and installed prior to the start of this grant period. The WPERC may deny an application or request for rebate for any reason, even if all eligibility requirements have been met. Funding is limited and not all applications may be able to receive rebates. This program is to encourage additional companies to use propane irrigation engines to broaden the benefits to the state. II. Qualifying Irrigation Engines The following is a list of manufacturers and models of the types of equipment currently eligible for the PERC farm program. Please note, there may be additional models of propane-fueled engines that meet the program s eligibility requirements that will be added to the below list at a later date. When purchased new, in EPA and/or CARB certified models, these engines meet the criteria for inclusion in the Propane Farm Incentive Program and those incentives can be coupled with the WPERC rebate funds. Other EPA and/or CARB certified new engines that are not listed below may also be eligible. Contact the WPERC with questions.
