Volumetric Chamber Metering With the KOCH metering device it is possible to meter material with an accuracy of up to 0.005 %. You can colour shotweights from 1 to 5000 grams and this if required using just one metering station. Every compact conveyor fits on all large metering stations and intermediate hopper units. Powder metering with ± 0.15 % accuracy A simple calculation shows how important it is to use a good volumetric chamber device: If only 1 % more masterbatch per 100kg/h than the required minimum is processed, and assuming that a 24 hour working day with 5 working days a week is in operation, at a cost factor of 10 per kilogram, it would result in approximately 60,000 extra costs per annum. Exact metering saves 5,000 per month. This means that the costs of purchasing a good metering device are very quickly recouped. A metering roller fitted with small chambers that are always evenly filled. A relief plate ensures the same bulk density irrespective of how much material is contained in the hopper. By determining and entering the required metering times for the individual components, it is possible to colour smallest and largest shotweights of up to 0.005 %. A 230 V mains plug and a zero-current pulse is all that is required to colour your granulate on a processing machine of your choice. If required we can supply the matching flange on request. GRAVIKO Gravimetric metering and weighing system (patented) Metering and weighing gravimetrically, controlling, correcting and evaluating in one operation and all this at a favourable price. The individual components are metered into a weighing hopper by a slider or alternatively a star-feeder (volumetric chamber metering).the scale registers the actual weight of the individual components which is transferred to the KOCH controller and compared with the calculated desired weight.the weighing for each filling is performed several times consecutively, and normal fluctuations are compensated by forming the mean value. If the desired and actual weight coincide, the bulk goods are emptied into the mixer. By combining the slider opening times with volumetric chamber metering it is usually possible to exactly meter up to ± 4 grains per 1000. A control loop is created by combining the optional accurate volumetric chamber metering with the controlling and correcting gravimetric metering.this control loop guarantees an absolutely correct metering independent of the bulk goods with an accuracy of ± 3 grains per 1000. The KOCH GRAVIKO program detects external interferences as "tearaways and disregards them in the comparison of the weighing results. Faulty metering due to external influences is then a thing of the past. GK 60 lid with weighing cell Graviko GK 60 Processing capacity up to 60 kg/h Depending on the metering station used up to 60 kg/h throughput can be processed.the main components are added via a slider, smaller metering amounts via the proven powder, masterbatch or granular station (Pu/Ma(Kö). For metering and conveying, the modular principle is to be found at work here too.all components are thoroughly mixed after weighing (see photo below right), before they are processed.
