OVERVIEW A3 Family Highlights: The A3 family includes the A3 Sedan, A3 Cabriolet, A3 Sportback e-tron and the high-performance S3 Sedan. An affordable premium compact model, the A3 family features Audi expertise in design, technology and driving dynamics found in the brand s full-size-luxury vehicles. The exterior of the A3 model line has been redesigned for a sportier and more aggressive appearance while the interior includes greater attention to detail through functional refinements and additional driver-focused technologies. The model line offers a host of standard premium features such as leather seating surfaces, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, xenon plus front lighting with LED daytime running headlights and LED taillights. Available Audi virtual cockpit features a large, 12.3-inch display that can deliver vibrant color at 60 frames per second with NVIDIA quad core processing power. The virtual cockpit helps to enhance the infotainment viewing and navigating experience via the large Google Map images (requires active Audi connect PRIME subscription) supported with 4G LTE (where available). Available updated MMI touch with handwriting-recognition technology includes a simplified functionkey layout with two touch-keys for horizontal menu control logic. The available 14 speaker, 705 watt Bang & Olufsen Sound System creates almost true-to-life surround sound reproduction and visually captivates with illuminated woofers in the front doors. (13 speaker, 625 watts on Cabriolet models) A3 Sedan and Cabriolet Highlights: A more powerful 2.0-liter TFSI engine replaces the 1.8-liter engine previously offered on front-wheel drive models. With shorter compression and longer expansion phases, this new 2.0-liter engine is more efficient and comes equipped with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Sedan and Cabriolet models are also available with a 2.0-liter TFSI quattro all-wheel drive turbocharged four-cylinder engine with six-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. Partial power front seats are new to the Cabriolet model with power seat height, seat bottom angle and fore and aft adjustment added, in addition to standard four-way power lumbar adjustment for the driver.
S3 Sedan Highlights: The S3 Sedan expands upon the sporty characteristics of the A3 with additional S model details that delivering greater performance for everyday use. Carrying-over from the previous model year, the powerful 2.0 TFSI engine, with quattro all-wheel drive, produces an impressive 292 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque and achieves a speed of 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds. The S3 s available Audi magnetic ride sport suspension can be adjusted using the Audi drive select system. The all-new front fascia on the S3 comes with a set of Platinum Gray, aluminum-optic double blade bars. The available Audi virtual cockpit has an additional Sport viewing mode that displays a large, central tachometer and a lap timer.
