Service Options Proposed Revised Network Presented 10/17/2017

What are the Service Options for? Kitsap Transit has about $1.5 million per year to expand routed service Service Options are intended to show three different choices Option 1 Expand weekday and Saturday service Option 2 Add full Sunday service Option 3 Add partial Sunday service and other improvements that extend the service day on weekdays and Saturdays

Service Option 1 Focus improvements on weekday/saturday Expand hours of operation Improve frequency on higher ridership services Most responsive to desires collected through public process Most ridership potential of scenarios (8% 10%)

System Map: Option 1 Weekday Frequency and Span Improvements

Service Option 2 Implement full Sunday service Sunday service add to routes that operate weekday and Saturday Bremerton Port Orchard foot ferry (from ferry funds) Requires ACCESS service added to Sunday with a price tag of $530,000 Helpful for existing riders, especially in Bremerton Responds to a common (but not top) choice in outreach effort Less ridership potential than other scenarios (3% 5%) Especially in North Kitsap a high growth area

System Map: Option 2 New Sunday Service

Service Option 3 Limited Sunday service and focus on intra community circulation Sunday service on a few community connector lines Bremerton Port Orchard foot ferry Prioritize coverage and circulation within communities on weekdays/saturdays, example new circulator in Silverdale and/or Bremerton Requires ACCESS service added to Sunday with a price tag of $530,000 Responds to mix of community desires expressed in outreach Low to medium ridership potential (4% 6%)

System Map: Option 3 Improved Service Span and New Sunday Service
