-Heating manifold 2000 Miscellaneous: Use screw connections which make an easy exchange of the manifold possible. Close not connected manifold circuits with plugs or caps. The connected pipes at the manifold circuit may not exert permanent tensile or pressure load on the manifold. The manifold circuits are rotatable 180 against each other. They can be adapted on different pipe distances by spacers. The manifold installation: 1. Cut threaded bars to length and screw them into connection block. 2. Put off individual modules (pay attention to position of o-ring). 3. Put on end plate with plastic hood facing inside. 4. -Heating manifold 3000 - Flowmeter If the German Construction Contract Procedures for orders are agreed, each specialized craftsman is legally obligated not only to make the hydraulic balancing during the installation of floor heatings but also to prove it (VOB, part C, DIN 18380-heating systems). It s also state-of-the-art to balance heating systems hydraulically. Furthermore the hydraulic balancing is physically mandatory, because water searches the line of the least resistance. The hydraulic balancing: The individual circuits of a floor heating have to be coordinated and adjusted in that way, that each circuit receives only the volume flow which is necessary for the respective heating output. The required volume flow can be easily and quickly adjusted by the standard integrated flowmeter of the SBK Heating manifold 3000. Procedure: Heating system has to be completely filled an deaerated, operating pressure has to be existent! Close all flowmeters of the return manifold, open all valves of the supply manifold. Adjust volume flow of the first circuit by turning the transparent plastic pipe according to the heat requirement calculation (use handwheel of the supply valve). Indicator pin of the plastic pipe rises upward. Turn plastic pipe as far as the indicator pin indicates the desired value. Balance next circuit as aforementioned. - Insulating spout By use of the SBK heating manifold 3000 in space cooling systems, condensation can be formed on the metal parts if the rope's point is undercut. Especially in the area of the clamp ring screw connection this can be mainly prevented by use of the insulating spout. The insulating spout is suited for clamp ring screw connections external thread euro cone ¾ and pipe diameter from Ø 12 to 20 mm. Picture 1 Assembly 1. Push insulating spout over the pipe before assembly of the clamp ring screw connection. 2. Screw on pipe with screw connection as usual on the manifold circuit. -Multizone 3000 The SBK-Multizone 3000 can easily combine 2 or 3 heating circuits into one control zone due to its modular nature. The hydraulic balancing of the heating circuits remains possible by the flowmeter in the return module. Specification of the components: Zone valve 3000, with thermostatic valve Controls the flow of the heating water to the following Multizone heating circuits. Change-over to electric actuator possible. Attention: First module of the Multizone in flow direction Intermediate module 3000 Pass to following modules (for both single circuits and Multizone heating circuits). Attention: Second module of the Multizone in flow direction End module 3000 Pass to following single circuits and limitation of the last Multizone heating circuit. Differential pressure relief valve for Heating manifold 3000 Description: The SBK Differential pressure relief valve for Heating manifold 3000 has the function to maintain a minimum water circulation or to reduce flow noises in a heating or cooling system. For that a Bypass-tube is connected between a Supply module and a Return module of the heating manifold. Instead of the flowmeter the Differential pressure relief valve is fitted in the Return module. The Differential pressure relief valve opens the Bypass in case of the differential pressure between supply and return is higher than the set value at the Differential pressure relief valve. So the heating system provides a minimum of water circulation also when all valve actuators are closed. For example mounted in an heat pump system. -Installation kit for one pipe manifold 2000 / 3000 Because of on site conditions it isn t always possible to install the supply and return manifold beams separately. Therefore we have the installation kits for one pipe manifold 3000 and 2000 in our product range. The manifold beams can be assembled in one line with these installation kits. The series 3000 has an overall height of 80 mm, the series 2000 of 75 mm. Each installation kit consists of: Connection block diagonally drilled with o-ring Separation plate 5 mm black with o-ring Intermediate plate 2 mm black Sleeve nut M8x25 galvanized 1 pcs 1 pcs 1 pcs 2 pcs Additionally the wall or cabinet holder 75 mm high (Item no. 6.013.029) is required. The installation kits differ only in the type of their connection blocks diagonally drilled 3000 or 2000. Installation information: Screw in threaded bars M8 into standard connection block. Put off one required supply module after the other. Put off separation plate 5 mm black with o-ring ( pay attention to position of o-ring). Put off the required number of return modules. Put off intermediate plate 2 mm black. Put off connection block diagonally drilled and screw it with sleeve nuts M8x25 galvanized. Cut threaded bars to lengths and screw them into connection block. 2. Apply connection block with threaded bars vertical to a fixed base. 3. First put off one flat gasket and then the manifold module. 4. Put off one flat gasket once again after the last manifold module. 5. Put on the end plate. 6. Tighten the nuts until modules lie together (torque 8 Nm). -Multipurpose manifold 5000 KST - Flowmeter The hydraulic balancing: The individual circuits can be coordinated and adjusted in that way, that each circuit receives only the volume flow which is necessary for the respective heat or refrigeration capacity. The desired volume flow can be easily and quickly adjusted by the standard integrated flowmeter of the SBK Multipurpose manifold. Procedure: System has to be completely filled and deaerated, operating pressure has to be existent! Close all flowmeters of the return manifold, open all valves of the supply manifold. Adjust volume flow of the first circuit by turning the transparent plastic pipe according to the heat requirement calculation (use handwheel of the supply valve). Indicator pin of the plastic pipe rises upward. Turn plastic pipe as far as the indicator pin indicates the desired value. Balance next circuit as aforementioned.
