Vertical High-Pressure Centrifugal Pump Series CVP Application For handling pure water and condensates. The fluids to be pumped must not contain any abrasive particles nor chemically attack the pump materials. Other fluids to be pumped on request. Main fields of application In water supply, booster and fire extinguishing plants, in heating, cooling and circulating systems, for boiler feeding and pumping of condensates, as car or tank washing pump and as washing pump in concrete mixing plants. Design Vertical, two- or multi-stage high-pressure centrifugal pump of the segmental type of construction with exchangeable impellers and diffusers as well as wearing plates. Suction casing, wearing plates, diffusers and delivery casing are held together by internal casing connecting bolts. The diffusers made of special plastic (Ryton) and wearing plates of Perbunan with metal reinforcement ensure an optimum sealing of the parts. The axial thrust is taken by the motor bearing. The connection pump/motor shaft is by a non-flexible clamp coupling. The delivery casing is at the same time the bearing bracket taking the driving motor, the suction casing is designed as pump foot. The corrosion-resistant materials provided for the pump internals ensure high resistance to wear, excellent anti-frictional properties and optimum efficiencies. Seizure of the pump impeller caused by rust developed during disuse is excluded. Shaft sealing by means of an uncooled, maintenance-free mechanical seal. Temperature/pressure limits, speed Admissible temperatures for the fluids to be pumped: For handling water up to 100 C, for slightly acid and alcalic fluids to be pumped, for Diesel, fuel oil, gasoline and oil up to 25 C. For drilling and cutting oil up to 40 C (for other fluids, please inquire). Speed Admissible internal pump pressure Admissible Supply pressure 2900 l/min (I) 20 bar Supply plus delivery pressure must not exceed the admissible internal pump pressure. Branch positions/flanges With the Standard design, the suction and delivery branches are staggered by 180. If requested, they can also be supplied staggered by 90 each (also superposed). Suction branch: Oval flange DN 40 with threaded counterflange G 1 ½ ➁ Delivery branch: s CVP 423 and CVP 426/2-10 stages with oval flange DN 32 and counterflange G 1 ¼ ➁, from sizes CVP 423 and CVP 426/12 and above - 18 stages and CVP 428/2 and above - 18 stages and CVP 428/2-10 stages with round flange DN 32, PN 25, DIN 2534 and threaded counterflange G 1 ¼ according to DIN 2567 ➁ Connections: A1 venting connection G 1/4 B1 draining connection G 1/4 Drive: By surface- cooled three-phase squirrel-cage motors. V18 (with CVP 423/2-10 and CVP 426/2-10) or V1 type of construction (with CVP 423/12-18, CVP 426/12-18 and CVP 428/2-10), enclosure IP 54 according to IEC Standards, class B insulation, performances and main dimensions according to DIN 42677.
