VISION Proud and profitable road transport companies in a sound and attractive market 1

FAIR TRANSPORT Good choices should be profitable for for the buyer and the company selling transportation. Using the concept of Fair Transport we at The Swedish Association of Road Transport Companies want to promote and highlight sound transportation methods from responsible hauliers. Hauliers that drive in a safe manner, think in a climate-smart manner and offer decent working conditions 2

AN IMPORTANT STANDPOINT In order to become part of Fair Transport the haulier must first be a member of the Association of Road Transport Companies. The haulier then undertakes to adopt a number of commitments: WE DRIVE IN A SAFE MANNER Better road safety doesn't only save lives. Better road safety also reduces costs for fuel, goods and vehicle damage. And gives safe delivery. 3

WE DRIVE IN A CLIMATE- SMART MANNER Sustainable transport in the long term demands knowledge and planning. It is not about ending road haulage. It is about smart road haulage. WE ARE RESPONSIBLE A transport service that is based on a lawful, serious and honest business contributes to a healthier haulage industry. That is good for us, our customers and our entire society. Read more about Fair Transport at akeri.se/fairtransport (in Swedish). 4

VISION Proud and profitable hauliers operating in a sound and attractive marketplace. BUSINESS CONCEPT The Swedish Association of Road Transport Companies shall support the member companies' needs for business development, opinion creation and lobbying. 5

OUR GOALS A profitable and attractive segment of industry - Our goal is that membership in the association shall give improved conditions for better profitability Strengthened competitive edge Our goal is through being a natural collaboration partner with the government and authorities, and thereby being able to influence the decision-making process Efficient transportation As we comprise part of the problem with emissions of greenhouse gases, we must consequently become a part of the solution, too. Our goal is for politicians and customers to regard us as environmentally-enlightened and responsible Road safety Our goal is for us to be seen as being on the offensive and shouldering responsibility in the field of road safety 6
