For ease of control at lower speeds, and precise road feel at all speeds, a sophisticated, electronically controlled, speed-sensitive, variable powerassisted, rack-and-pinion steering system is incorporated. The elegantly styled Legend Sedan was designed for aerodynamic efficiency. Clean, aerodynamic lines penetrate the wind with a minimum of turbulence, and details such as nearly flush glass panels and minimal gaps between body sections reduce wind noise and increase fuel efficiency. The exterior finish is achieved using a 23-step, 4-coat, 4-bake painting process.
