Fixed Bar Grills - Series G Description Caryaire Fixed Bar Grills are ideal for Supply as well as Return air, in both Cooling as well as Heating. It can be used in high side wall or ceiling applications. Available in 9 different cores with a choice of frames. Optional Opposed Blade Damper can be supplied in Aluminium or Steel construction. Ideal for Continuous lengths with maximum singe piece not exceeding 1800mm. Lengths greater than 1800mm are furnished in multiple sections which can be field aligned using the optional alignment strips. All Deflection bars are fixed and are parallel to the Long Dimension. Standard Packaging Grills are wrapped in Stretch film, usually back to back in pairs and then put into cardboard boxes Product Labelling Each Grill will be labeled with dimensions and Caryaire Order # Standard Colour Standard shades are Caryaire White (CW) and Caryaire Off White (CO). Other Colour Options (OO) are available at an extra price Mitered Corners are available Type O : Ceiling Wall : Zero Degree Deflection Type A : Ceiling Wall : Inside Deflection Type B : Ceiling Wall : Outside Deflection Type C : Side Wall : Inside Type D : Side Wall : Outside Refer to Caryaire for details of Mitered Corners. Prices for Mitered Corners are 15% higher than Regular Grills Suggested Specifications Fixed bar grills shall be Caryaire Series G with 3mm or 5mm thick fixed bars at 0 or 15 deflection, spaced 13mm or 17mm on center. Fixed bar grills shall be available in standard one-piece lengths up to 1800mm and shall have the sizes and mounting types shown on the plans and outlet schedule. Lengths greater than 1800mm shall be furnished in multiple sections and will be joined together endto-end with alignment strips to form a continuous appearance. All alignment components to be purchased from the manufacturer. The Grill core shall have extruded aluminum bars fastened into a heavy extruded aluminum border. The deflection bars must be fixed and parallel to the long dimension. The core must have spacers tubes and shall be parallel to the short dimension The finish shall be white. The finish shall be Epoxy Powder Coated. Heavy gauge extruded aluminum end borders and mitered corners shall be available to close off the ends of the Grills. Optional opposed blade damper shall be constructed of heavy gauge steel (aluminum also available). Damper must be operable from the face of the Grill.
