4. Filling Tank Low Profile Tank with Plastic Lid Connect filling pump to the tank inlet(1). Open the inlet valve(2). Max filling flow rate is 220 LPM Turn on the filling pump. Use the eye gauge at the rear of the tank to gauge the level of fluid in the tank Caution: Do not overfill tank, as it may force the lid off and allow contents of the tank to overflow and enter the engine compartment, damaging components. In the event of a spillage, remove sprayer and wash down the engine compartment. Caution: Do not exceed maximum filling rate of 220 LPM Do not exceed the maximum level(3) Turn off the filling pump and close the inlet valve. Remove filling pump from tank. (1) (2) (3) 8

4. Filling Tank Standard Tank with Stainless Steal Lid and Overflow Connect filling pump to the tank inlet(1). Open the inlet valve(2). Turn on the filling pump. Max filling flow rate is 220 LPM Use the eye gauge at the rear of the tank to gauge the level of fluid in the tank Caution: In the event of overflow, excess liquid will flow through the overflow pipe at the rear of the vehicle at ground level. Caution: Do not exceed maximum filling rate of 220 LPM If max level is exceeded, fluid will flow out throught the overflow pipe(3). To avoid waste do not exceed max level(4) Turn off the filling pump and close the inlet valve. Remove filling pump from tank. Overflow Pipe (1) (2) (3) (4) 9

5. Lance Operation The sprayer comes equipped with both a high and low pressure lance (1). Each lance Change-Over Valve is desinged to operates seperately so only one lance can operate at a time. Low Pressure Lance Close the shutoff valve for the right spray bar(2). On the sprayer monitor press the button to place the right spray bar into active mode. Switch on the rear PTO and bring the engine RPM to 2000rpm. Switch on the main spray control so it appears as. The low pressure lance is now operational. The high pressure lance is now operational. (1) High Pressure Lance (2) (3) Shutoff Valve Low Pressure Lance 10

4. Filling Tank Filling with Automatic Shutoff The tank is fitted with an optional level sensor and relay which can facilitate automatic shut off of the filling pump. A suitable connector to match the filling pump control cable should be installed on the side of the plastic junction box. A wiring diagram for this is supplied in Appendix A. This should be carried out by qualified personnel only. The loose wires required to connect to the filling pump are located in the plastic junction box(1). Instructions (2) (3) Caution: Do not exceed maximum filling rate of 220 LPM Connect filling pump to the tank inlet(2). Open the inlet valve(3). Connect filling pump control lead to matching plug on junction box. Switch on the filling pump. Max filling flow rate is 220 LPM When the tank has reach max capacity the sensor will automatically switch the Low Fluid Level When fluid in the tank reaches a critically low level the sprayer will automatically turn off. An alarm will be displayed on the monitor showing that the tank must be refilled (4). When this appears PTO should be switched off. filling pump off.
