EQUIPMENT (DAEDO) a) Protector and Scoring System will be used at this tournament. b) Participating contestants are required to wear Taekwondo uniform and protective equipment as described by the WT regulations. c) Body protector and head gear (Protector and Scoring System) will be provided by the OC. d) Participating contestants are required to bring their own sensing socks, groin guards, mouthpieces, gloves, and shin and forearm guards for their personal use. e) Before entering the field of play, all contestants will proceed to the inspection desk for inspection of their uniforms and protective equipment. Any contestant who wears unofficial uniform or protective equipment will not be permitted to compete. f) Organizing Committee will make and cover the cost of all the preparations, including cameras and technical officials, for the instant video replay at its expenses. WEIHG-IN a) Weigh-in of all contestants shall be completed one day before their scheduled competition b) During the weigh-in, male contestants shall wear underpants and female contestants shall wear underpants and brassieres. Individual awards by rank: Medals will be awarded to the top four athletes in the respective weight divisions. a) 1ST PLACE: GOLD MEDAL & CERTIFICATE b) 2ND PLACE: SILVER MEDAL & CERTIFICATE c) 3RD PLACE: 2 BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE Team awards by rank: Based on the point system below, the top three (3) teams of the Men s division and the top three (3) teams of the Women s division will receive trophies. HEAD OF TEAM MEETING & DRAWING OF LOTS SESSION: a) The head of team meeting and the drawing of lots session shall be conducted One (1) day prior to the start of the championships that is March 30, 2017, in the presence of OC officials and the representatives of the participating nations. b) The method of draw shall be decided by the Technical Delegate. Indemnities: All competitors are considered to participate at their own risk. The Rwanda Taekwondo Federation and the organizing committee assume no responsibility for any damages, injuries or losses. Due circumstances the organization committee can decide to adjust the competition. All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical insurance in Rwanda. If not, this will have to be paid in cash. LAUNCH DURING EVENTS Launch will be provided for all the participants. REGIST RATION AND ENTRY FEES Entry fees: The OC shall collect the entry fees from the participants. The participants shall pay an entry fee to the Organizing Committee in cash US$ only at the accreditation center in Kigali at Amahoro National Stadium to the start of the Championships. Athletes shall not be allowed to compete without successful payment of entry fee to the Organizing Committee Registration Fees: $ 10 per athlete.
