IV) OPERATION 7 Ensure the oil to be filtered is at least room temperature if possible. Attempting to filter cold oil through the filter supplied with your oil filter cart may cause cavitations at the pump and potential damage. Ensure you have purchased the correct filter before putting your Oil filter Cart into use. Our Princess Auto Hydraulics Team Members can help with filter recommendations and purchases from your Princess Auto Hydraulics Centers. Start Up 1. Insert the inlet/suction line wand assembly into the supply fluid receptacle (drum/reservoir) 2. Insert the outlet/return line wand assembly into the clean fluid receptacle (drum/reservoir) 3. Verify that the ON/OFF switch is OFF and plug the cord into a 115V 10A grounded outlet (3 wire) 4. Turn the switch to ON position and check outlet/return wand for oil flow. Allow approximately 30 seconds for filter to fill with oil. If there is no oil flow check inlet/suction side fittings for tightness and try again. 5. The condition of the filters should be monitored, by observing the pressure gauges on the manifolds and by monitoring the oil flow itself. When the filter gauge reads a pressure greater than 25 PSI, or if the oil flow is significantly reduced, it is time to change the filters.
