HOSTING A RECARGO HIGH POWER EV CHARGING SITE Become part of the re olution NEXT GENERATION HIGH POWER ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING

HOSTING A CHARGING SITE Cafes & Restaurants Retail & Entertainment Hotels & Lodging Replenish their body. Recharge their car. Drivers stop for, on average, 40-60 minutes to recharge their batteries: the perfect amount of time to stop in and get a bite while they wait to get refueled. Recharge. Roam. Unwind. EV drivers have time to explore during a charge. Retail, entertainment and local landmarks makes a charging location an enticing choice for an EV driver. Recharge their batteries. Literally. There s no better magnet to draw EV drivers overnight than hospitality properties with charging facilities, converting them into paying guests. Becoming a Recargo charging station host increases traffic and revenue for your business. 100% focused on EV charging & adoption. Forging a sustainable future for all

IT S IN THE DETAILS We Pay You We want to pay you thousands of dollars every year to install free, state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at your business as an attractive amenity for your customers. Zero Cost to You. We pay for everything. including equipment, construction, power, operation and maintenance. The Process If the property meets our requirements, we ll enter an agreement where you ll receive annual payments. Depending on how many chargers are installed at your site, this can total up to over $100k over 10 years. We make the construction process painless, ensuring there is minimal disruption to your business. Added bonus: we pay you $1000 simply for signing the license agreement. BE PART OF THE REVOLUTION We re at the beginning of one of the most dramatic transformations in the history of the auto industry. Virtually every global automaker is committing a large portion of their production to electric vehicles over the next decade. GM is planning 20 all-electric models by 2023. Ford has committed to $4.5 billion for EVs over the next 5 years. BMW says 25% of its production will be EVs by 2025. Both Jaguar Land and Volvo plan to electrify their entire vehicle lineup by 2020. And it s just starting. It all adds up to incredible opportunities for properties like yours, because all these new EVs need a place for ultra-fast charging when they re on long trips. Hosting a Recargo charging center is like having a magnet that draws grateful, affluent customers who patronize your business. These aren t just your average drivers either. 69% earn over $100K a year, and more than 1-in-10 earns over a quarter million dollars a year. Plus 70% have children, and 80% have at least one college degree. Bottom line: It s a win-win proposition. Not only do you attract a steady stream of appreciative customers, but you also get well paid by Recargo in the process. THE FUTURE IS HERE The biggest hurdle that has affected the adoption of electric vehicles has been range anxiety and charging speed. Until Now. With improved technology, high density batteries with increased capacity are being installed in new EVs. Coupled with Recargo s high power fast charging network, EVs have become a viable choice for long range travel. EVs batteries have broken the 300-mile barrier, and 400 miles is well within sight. With the new-generation fastcharging technology from Recargo, we ve made it practical to recharge these new larger batteries in record time.

THEY NEED A RECHARGE. YOU NEED RECARGO. EV CHARGING TECHNOLOGY Charging Levels Connector Types AC Chargers AC Level 1 Typical residential plug-in chargers from a 110V outlet. Power: Up to 1.9KW AC Level 2 Commercial grade charging from a 240V supply. Power: Typically 7kW (but can be up to 19.2kW) DC Fast Charging (DCFC) DC Level 1 1st generation of fast chargers from 200-480V supply. Power: Up to 36kW Charge time: Long range EV within 3-4 hours. DC Level 2 Typical fast chargers installed today from 200-480V supply. Power: Up to 90kW Charge time: Long range EV within 1-2 hours. J1772 This connector is capable of AC Level 1 and AC Level 2 charging only. CCS Combined Charging System (CCS) is a fast charge development of the J1772 which is used by most US and European automakers. Vehicles with a CCS port can accept the slower charge from AC Level 1 and 2 chargers with the J1772 connector or a DC fast charge via the CCS connector from the same port. CHAdeMO A standard connector for DC fast charging developed in Japan. Nissan, Kia Motors and Mitsubishi have released vehicles in North America that use CHAdeMO. Tesla offers a $500 adaptor for their cars. The Recargo network offers both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors at DC fast charging (DCFC) stations. DC Level 3 and beyond The Recargo Standard for DC Fast Charging! Next generation fast charging from 480V supply. Power: Up to 240kW, although 350kW is now also feasible and becoming the new standard for an ultra fast charging generation. Charge time: Long range EV often less than 1hr. New 350kW systems greatly reduce these charge times.

FAQ 2231 Campus Drive It s an exciting opportunity and the prospect of bringing new traffic to your location can be extremely rewarding. Below are answers to many common questions, but for more information contact the Recargo acquisitions team. What is the license agreement, and what does it obligate me to do? The most important thing the license gives us is the exclusive right to construct and operate a charging facility on your property for 10 years, with an option for 10 more years. It also specifies that there are zero costs to you for equipment, construction, permitting, power, maintenance or repair. The license requires that the chargers need to be available to drivers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. What happens if Recargo decides not to build the charging facility on the property? It s highly unlikely, but that case, you get keep the $1000, and have no obligations at all. What costs will I incur? None. All construction, operation, maintenance and electricity costs are handled by us. There s no loophole or exception. How much would I be paid? The license agreement lays out the terms of payment to you. We adjust payments depending on the number of chargers we install on your property. What kind of charging facility are you planning to build? Of course our license agreement will spell out our space requirements in depth before you sign anything, but until then, here s a quick look at what to expect. Depending on where your property is located, we will be seeking to install 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 chargers on your property. Ask Recargo site acquisition specialist which configuration we re seeking from you. Our charging system consists of 2 pieces: Pedestals: the kiosks with the power connectors that drivers plug into their EVs in order to charge. Our high power fast chargers (DCFCs) couple with both CHAdeMO and CCS connectors enabling the charging of any manufacturer s fast charge capable vehicle. Electrical Equipment: the behind the scenes power equipment that feeds the pedestals, including transformers, switchgear and inverters. How much space do you need? Generally speaking, we need one parking space per pedestal. The exception: where we must conform to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) regulations. This may require a little extra width at some stations depending on the number of chargers we install. In addition, we need a small area to install electrical equipment, this includes a utility transformer, switchgear, meter and inverter(s). The actual size of the equipment area will be dependent on the number of chargers being installed. We typically seek a location close to existing electrical utility equipment (overhead power lines, transformers or vaults) in planters, grass verges or other unobtrusive behind the curb areas. As the number of EVs grows in the years ahead, we expect demand for chargers to steadily increase. If possible, we ll want to reserve room for additional fast charger, should it become necessary in the future. That s good for you, since it means even more potential customers stopping at your business and expanded revenue from us. Will customers have to pay for using the charging facility? Yes. Rates will be comparable to other public chargers of the same type. What is the construction process like? Will it disrupt my business? Most installations are completed within 2 to 4 weeks. Some are longer, others shorter. The finished site will be clean and highly professional. For us, it is critical that construction does not interfere with your business operation. We handle all permitting, zoning and other legal hurdles. Will gas cars be able to use the parking spaces in the charging facility? No. EV parking spaces are reserved for charging only. In fact, California law makes it illegal to park a gas car in a designated EV charging space. Will you be promoting/advertising the availability of EV charging at my business? Yes. First, there will be ample highway signage that directs EV drivers to your door. In addition, more than 83% of EV drivers in the US rely on our PlugShare app to find chargers, and we ll be using it to prominently highlight all California Electric Highway locations. Why is the number of EVs supposed to grow so fast? A new generation of EVs will soon be introduced -- many are to priced at around $30,000 with a battery range over 200 miles. That is a real breakthrough. Before this, the only EVs capable of that kind of range were the Tesla Model S and Model X, priced 3 to 4 times as high ($90,000-$120,000). Research suggests that this will dramatically increase the number of drivers who will buy or lease EVs. Almost every major automaker has announced plans for a generation of long range battery electric vehicles within the next few years. And many countries are also joining a growing list committing to an all electric future.
