2 Why Why Why is an ergonomically designed task chair with a distinctive, contemporary style. All Why chairs have a self-adjusting synchronised mechanism which reacts intuitively to provide ultimate comfort for people of varying sizes and weights. A unique contoured height adjustable back ensures pelvic and lumbar support. The back is formed from a high performance polymer that flexes and adjusts to the movement of the body. Perforations aid the flexibility whilst providing necessary ventilation. Overall comfort is completed by the contoured deep moulded foam cushion with adjustable seat depth. Why is designed and manufactured using recycled and recyclable materials wherever possible. To conserve resources and lessen our impact on the environment, we have minimised the materials and components we use without compromising performance. Why is available in two versions: S-Type (see pages 4-5) and R-Type (see pages 6-9).

4 Why Why S-Type Why has a distinctive contemporary design aesthetic combined with a robust structure and weight responsive self adjusting syncronised mechanism. The mechanism automatically adjusts to body weight providing a natural ride with the seat tilting 5 in perfect ratio with the back rest which inclines 16. In addition there is a tension balance control underneath the seat for fine adjustments. The S-Type Why features a button operated flexible ergonomic height adjustable back, with three colour options, black, white and grey. Other colours are available, subject to a minimum order quantity.

11 Why 1 Seat depth adjustment Designed to adjust the depth of the seat to give additional comfort to people of different heights. Seat depth adjustment 2 Tension control This adjustment fine tunes the pressure required to move back and forth in the chair. Found underneath the seat. Tension 3 Seat height adjustment Seat height adjustment is essential for a good posture and allows users of all heights to find their optimum sitting position. Seat height adjustment 4 Back lock The seat back can be adjusted to provide a locked or free floating setting. Back lock 5 Armrest height and depth The seat arms can be adjusted to reduce strain on shoulder and neck muscles.
