Swivel mvable part f the press and the heat platen t the right side. 2. Turn lcking screw f the swivel autmatic t the right. Pressure adjustment Please unfix the lcking screw t switch ff the swivel autmatic. ATTENTION! The press needs t be set up abslutely hrizntal t make sure the swivel autmatic is wrking. Pressure Adjustment 1. Put yur textile nt the base platen. 2. Mve the heat platen t its lwer psitin and check the cntact pressure. 3. Turn the large wheel ( lcated underneath the base platen ) t the right (-)until the heat platen des nt build up any pressure. In this psitin the heat platen is suppsed t slide slightly n the base platen. This is ur starting psitin. The pressure equals " 0". 4. The max. Pressure f the press is 4 cmplete rtatins f the wheel t the left. Fr example: When number 2 is faced frward in the starting psitin zu can turn the wheel 4 times t the left until number 2 is facing frward again after the 4th rtatin. EXAMPLE: Pressure settings Flck transfers 0,5-1,5 Ultraflex 1-2,5 Therm transfers 2-4 Sublimatin 1-2,5 Puzzel 3-4 ATTENTION! After each change yu shuld clse the press nce t check the new pressure setting. Damages due t excess pressure settings are excluded frm the guarantee. + 1 2 3-0-4 4 x = max. 2
+ SWITCH ON This device may nly be perated by trained staff after reading the OPERATOR s MANUAL. Befre yu switch n the device, please check if yur scket is in prper cnditin and if the grunding wire is cnnected prperly. The green tggle switch activates the press. The display shws the current temperature f the heat platen and the press will heat immediately until the indicated temperature is reached ( LED 1 is shining ). SAFETY Fr ptimum utput and safety it is recmmended t read and fllw the USER s MANUAL carefully. Please nte that nly ne persn is allwed t wrk with the press at the same time. Minrs are nt allwed t wrk with the press either. In case f an emergency press the main switch immediately. MAINTENANCE All maintenance wrks shuld be dne when the device is switched ff. Yu have t pull the plug ut f the scket befrehand. When replacing the heat platens yu will have t wait until the heat platens have cled dwn cmpletely! DANGER OF BURNING!!! There is ne grease nipple n the press. It shuld be lubricated with a grease gun every fur weeks. Make sure that the grease infiltrates the bearing when lubricating. The grease has t be temperature-resistant up t 160 C. CLEANING The device shuld be cleaned with a sft clth. Use dmestic dish washing liquid. Scrubbing spnges, slvents r petrl are nt recmmended. REPLACE SILICONE PAD When replacing the silicne pad the device has t be cld. Remve the ld silicne pad cmpletely frm the base platen. Use a pallette knife t equally spread ut temperature-resistant silicne. Then apply the new silicne pad. Base platen Put a plate nt the silicne pad and lad with weights ( apprx. 20kg ) straight: Let dry fr 24 hurs. Part fr caps: Apply the cld heat platen nt the new silicne pad. Fix bth plates with paper adhesive tape. Let dry fr 24 hurs. The silicne pad shuld be abut 1-2 cm bigger than the base platen. Use a cutter t cut ff the edges after yu have sticked bth plates tgether. 3
Swing S - Cabinet stand 1. Please remve the prtective fil, unfix the lcking screws and take ut the press (Pic 1 and 2). ATTENTION!!! The head f the press may slide aside. The prcesses f taking the press ut and attaching it have t be dne by tw persns. 2. Unfix the screws (Pic 3). Lwer the table (Pic 4) and screw the table-legs tight (Pic 5). 3. Put the press n the cabinet stand and blt them tgether. The frnt-side f the press with the lever has t fit int the hle f the cabinet stand (Pic 6).. 1 2 3 5 4 6 4
Greasing Befre yu start greasing make sure the press is switched ff and the heat platen is cld. Please d als pull ut the plug f the scket. Yu shuld grease after a max. f 200 perating hurs r at the latest 4 weeks time. The grease has t be temperature-resistant up t 160 C. There are 4 parts suppsed t be greased (Swing and Swing S): 1. There are tw hles n the yellw lever. 2. Left and right f the shrt shaft in the yellw lever. 3. The secnd shrt shaft under the yellw lever. 4. The fitting f the heat platen. Please use a grease gun. Max. time 9 minutes 59 secnds. Example: Time setting 1 minute 15 secnds. Minutes TEMPERATURE CONTROL Press buttn 3, the preset temperature is shwn n the display. Example: Settings fr the press This press is used t apply transfers and transfer fils n textiles. Please get in tuch with the manufacturer f the textiles, in rder t achieve gd results.
