Cable entry into the separate compartments goes through separate cable ducts. Each cable duct has an additional divider to separate power supply and data cables. Unauthorised access is effectively prevented and a cabinet can be rented to a number of users. This allows optimal utilization of available data centre space. The IS-1 colocation racks are fitted with a lateral airflow routing panel for ruse in enclosures. The intelligent data centre Baying kit For fast, easy and mechanically stable baying of IS-1 cabinets. The connectors are located inside the framework and so do not affect internal mounting planes. It is possible to bay the racks with the side panels mounted. There are different versions available for different application purposes. If the baying connection needs to be air tight (z. B. IP55), or is used with enclosures or side coolers, the kit with sealing material has to be used. For simple baying, i.e., two adjacent IP20 von floor distributors or cabinets with two side panels, the baying kit without sealing material is sufficient. The sealing material can be ordered separately for retrofitting.
