Last Updated: 1/6/18 Classes: WDCR-SCCA will class all participant vehicles in accordance with WDCR-SCCA TT Car Classing at the end of this document. Vehicle classes are representative. While every effort has been made to class those vehicles common to our TT program, not all vehicles may be included. This does not mean the car cannot participate; it will be classed at the event. The Time Trial Coordinator reserves the right to re-class any vehicle or vehicle/driver combo at any time in the spirit of promoting fun, safe competition. All classes are permitted the modifications listed in the table below with no change in class. If a modification is not listed below, it is not permitted. OEM Update/Backdate Engine Authorized Modifications OEM parts from any model in the same class or lower may be used. Engines are excluded from this authorization and are subject to the class bump described below. Air filter unrestricted. Air intake assembly may be replaced. The engine management computer or ECU may be altered or replaced. Any ignition system permitted. Batteries may be replaced and relocated. Manifolds and heads may be port and polished. Engine may be blueprinted and balanced. Engine may be bored a max of.040 over. Factory pistons and rods or aftermarket equivalent must be used. Plastic timing gears may be replaced. Carburetor jets or fuel injectors may be replaced. Oil pans, pan baffles, scrapers, windage trays, oil pickups, lines, and filters are unrestricted. Oil catch tanks are permitted. Relocated oil filters and coolers permitted. Alternate water pump, alternator, power steering, and crankshaft pulleys of any diameter or material may be used. Type of accessory drive shall remain as stock. Engine mounts free. Turbo and superchargers, if equipped, must remain stock. Associated hardware, including but not limited to downpipes, intercoolers, etc. may be replaced. For superchargers, all pulleys driving the supercharger must remain of stock diameter. Fuel System Emissions equipment may be removed. Any fuel pump and associated plumbing may be used. Fuel cells and associated plumbing may be used. Fuel cell must be in stock fuel tank location. Engine Exhaust Fuel must have an octane rating no higher than 93. Diesel vehicles may use any commonly available diesel fuel. Any exhaust header and exhaust system may be used. Exhaust shall exit behind the driver away from the car body. Catalytic converter may be replaced/removed. Engine Cooling Must meet event-specific sound limits. Any radiator may be used. Must be in stock location and not require chassis/body modification. Protective mesh screens may be mounted in front of the radiator and/or oil cooler(s) Transmission/Final Drive Air conditioning systems may be removed in whole or in part. Any clutch disc and pressure plate may be used; balancing of the flywheel/clutch/pressure plate assembly is permitted. OEM limited-slip or locked differentials are permitted. Any final drive ratio is permitted provided it fits the stock differential/transaxle housing without modification to the housing. Transmission mounts free. Chassis Ride Height Chassis Suspension Two-piece drive-shafts may be replaced with one-piece. 4, measured from the lowest piece of bodywork, unless stock is lower. Any shock absorber and spring may be used. Their number, perch locations, system of attachment,

attachment points must remain stock. Aftermarket coilovers approved for all factory coil spring equipped axles. External adjustments of shock control limited to two (2). Camber/caster plates, offset bushings, extended balljoints, or other bolt-on camber/caster modifications permitted. Any anti-roll bar(s), traction bar(s), panhard rod or watts linkage may be added, removed, or substituted. Bushing material, including that used to mount a suspension subframe to the chassis, is unrestricted. Brakes Aftermarket chassis stiffening devices are permitted. Brake calipers/pads/rotors/drums are unrestricted. ABS systems, if equipped, may be disabled. Aftermarket ABS systems are not permitted. Flexible rubber brake lines may be replaced with Teflon-lined, metal-braided hoses. Backing plates and dust shields may be ventilated or removed. Air ducts may be fitted to the brakes, provided that they extend in a forward direction only. Brake proportioning valves may be used. Wheels/Tires Parking brakes, mechanisms, and actuating components may be removed. Any size. Resulting tire fitment must be fully contained within the bodywork when viewed from above. Wheel spacers permitted. Any wheel studs, bolts, and nuts are permitted. Body Tires must be commercially available, DOT approved, and 100 treadwear or higher. OEM body panels may be modified but not replaced. Hood and trunk pins permitted. Fender flares permitted. Fenders may be rolled, trimmed, or pulled for tire fitment. Wheel-well liners may be removed. Glass windows may be removed, or replaced with polycarbonate. Vehicles equipped with a windshield must retain one of the same dimensions. Body side moldings, rocker panel moldings, and wheel opening trim pieces may be removed. Resulting holes may be filled. In addition to any OEM aero, one (1) additional significant aerodynamic device from the list below is permitted at the front and the rear of the car each, for a total of two (2) devices. Permitted significant aerodynamic devices: Front: Lip, spoiler, or vertical airdam extending no further than the lowest part of the wheel; canards (no more than two (2) per side); or splitter extending no more than 2 from outer edge of mounting surface. Rear: Wing (see rules below), spoiler, or diffuser (see rule below). Rear wings must be single element, mounted at or below the roof line, and not extend past 12 rearward of the bumper. Swan-neck wings are not permitted. Rear diffuser must be contained with the rear axle and rear-most edge of the bumper. Movable aerodynamic devices, unless OEM equipped, are not permitted. Flat, single-piece undertray extending from the leading edge of the bumper or any aerodynamic device to the front axles permitted. Flat bottoms, unless OEM equipped, are not permitted. Interior Ducting may be added for the purposes of cooling, cannot feed into any aerodynamic device. All interior pieces, with the exception of the dashboard, may be removed. Gauges are free. Driver and front passenger seats may be replaced to facilitate use with roll bar/cage and harnesses. Roll bar/roll cage and other related safety equipment permitted and encouraged. Any modification in excess of those permitted in the table result in a minimum bump of one class (+1), at the discretion of the Time Trial Coordinator.

Any tube chassis variant of a production vehicle results in a bump of two classes (+2). Engine swaps are classed at the class of the swapped engine plus a bump of one class (engine +1). Adding forced induction to a vehicle that did not originally come with forced induction results in a bump of classes (+2). Vehicles that have a forced induction model or trim of the same chassis, may equip that OEM forced induction unit [subject to forced induction rules in the modification table] and be classed at the level of that model (i.e. Mini Cooper equipped with the supercharger from a Mini Cooper S would be bumped to the S class, rather than +2. Use of an aftermarket supercharger, even at the same power level, would be subject to the +2 bump). Classing Examples: Example 1: 1989 BMW 325i with coilovers, sway bars, race seats, harness bar running Toyo RA-1 tires on 17x7 Kosei wheels is TT4. Example 2: Take that same car from Example 1; add higher lift cams and the car becomes TT3. Example 3: Take that same car from Example 1; replace the motor with one from an E46 M3 (TT2) and it is now classed at TT1. Example 4: Take the car in Example 1; add a supercharger and it is now TT2. Class Crosswalk The following table shows a crosswalk between common club racing and time trial classes used by other organizations. Vehicles with a current competition year logbook may run in their crosstalk class without making any modifications. Any change from logbook configuration will result in TT classing taking effect. Changes may have been made for parity. All car classing is subject to approval of the Time Trial Coordinator, and can be changed at any time in the spirit of promoting fun, safe competition. TT SCCA EMRA NASA WRL TTX T1, STO STGT, ST1 ST1, AIX, ST, SU, GTSU GTO TT1 T2, AS, STU ST2 ST2, AI, SpecE46, H1, GTS5 GP1 TT2 T3, ITR, STL ST3 ST3, ST4, PTD, SpecE36, H2, GP2 GTS4 TT3 T4, ITS, SM ST4 ST5, PTE, SpecE30, H4, GTS3 GP3 TT4 ITA, SSM ST5 ST6, PTF, GTS2 GP4 TT5 ITB, B-Spec, ITC ST6, ST7, ST8 GTS1 Scoring Scoring will be two-fold, by class and overall. By Class: Any class with 2 or more participants each earning more than 100 points will run for its own championship. Finishing order will be determined by raw time. Championship points will be awarded per the table below. Overall: Overall finishing order will be determined by raw times with PAX modifiers applied. See PAX formula sheet for current class PAX values. Championship points will be awarded per the table below. Drivers competing in multiple classes during the season will have each classes championship points counted separately, with the highest scoring class being counted as their official championship position. Finishing Points Finishing Points Finishing Points Finishing Points Finishing Points Position Position Position Position Position 1 30 5 17 9 9 13 3 17 0 2 26 6 15 10 7 14 2 18 0 3 23 7 13 11 5 15 1 19 0 4 20 8 11 12 4 16 0 20 0

Points of Interest PAX will be used for overall scoring. This is the only practical way to accommodate having an overall championship. We will use the PAX based on actual times introduced in 2015. Overall Scoring and Class Scoring will be maintained separately. Example: the fastest TT2 car may place 1 st in TT2 and 4 th Overall. They will receive 30 points towards the class championship and 20 towards the overall. THREE DROPS FOR 2018. Drops apply to overall championship only. Each day of competition is considered one event, so a usual PDX weekend has two events (Saturday and Sunday).

WDCR-SCCA TIME TRIAL VEHICLE CLASSINGS Note 1: Vehicle classes are representative. Not all vehicles are included in the lists below. For any vehicle not listed please contact the Time Trial Coordinator at the event.
