Assembly Instructions Please ensure that all parts are present prior to assembly. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact our enquiries line: 0344 482 1414. 1. Fix the front (A) and rear (B) base sections together by slotting the two sections together until they clip into place (see figure 1 below). Figure 1 2. Remove the pre-fitted screws from the fan assembly (C) using a Phillips head screwdriver (not supplied). Then fit the assembled fan base over the fan assembly (C). Finally reattach the screws back into the fan assembly base using a Phillips head screwdriver (see figure 2 below). Affix base to fan assembly (C) using these 4x screws. Figure 2 3. 1 2 3 4 5 Operating Instructions Prior to connecting the product to the mains supply, ensure that the mains voltage supply corresponds with the voltage indicated on the product rating plate. 1. Connect the power, and press the on/off/speed button on the main unit (1) or on the remote control (5). The fan will automatically start in high power when you turn the unit on. The high power indicator LED on the main unit (8) will light up to show that the unit is switched on and the high speed setting is currently selected. 2. Press the on/off/speed button again to select the medium speed setting, the medium power indicator LED on the main unit (7) will light up. Press the on/off/speed button again to select the low speed setting. The low power indicator LED on the main unit (6) will light up. 4. Press the on/off/speed button again and the unit will turn off. 5. To activate the oscillation function press the oscillate on/off button on the main unit (3) or on the remote control (3). The oscillate on/off indicator LED will light up to show that the unit is in oscillation mode. To switch off the oscillation function, press the oscillate on/off button again. 6. The unit has a timer function, which can be set to automatically switch off after the following time intervals 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6 and 7 hours. Press the timer button on the main unit (4) or (2) on the remote control. The timer indicator LED s (11, 12 and 13) on the main control panel will light up to show which timer setting is activated. Press the timer selector button on the main unit (4) or (2) on the remote control repeatedly until you reach the desired setting. To switch off the timer function, repeatedly press the timer button on the main unit (4) or (2) on the remote control until none of the timer indicator LED s (11, 12 and 13) are lit up. 7. To activate the ionising function, press the ioniser on/off button on the main unit (2) or (4) on the remote control. ionising mode is activated. To switch off the ionising function, press the ioniser on/off button again. The ioniser indicator LED will switch off. 8. To switch the air output type, press the breeze on/off button on the main unit (5) or (1) on the remote control. This will set the fan to emit a natural wind air output. The breeze on/off indicator LED (14) on the main control panel will light up to show that the natural wind setting is activated. To switch off the natural air output, press the breeze on/off button again. The breeze indicator LED will switch off to show that the natural air function is deactivated. 9. Change the tilt function by pushing the handle on the top of the unit gently. The unit has 3x possible positions for air output (see figure 3 below). Figure 3 Remote Control 1. Always purchase the correct size of batteries for this product (2x AAA batteries- not included). 2. Always replace the batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries. 3. Do not mix alkaline standard (carbon-zinc) and rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. 4. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. 5. Remove batteries from the device if it is not to be used for an extended period of time. 1. Remove the remote control from the storage recess on the back of the main unit (see figure 4 below). 2. Slide off the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote and install the batteries correctly as marked by the polarity markings (+/-) inside the battery compartment. 3. Refit the battery compartment cover. Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions To clean: 1. Disconnect the power cord from the mains. 2. First use a soft cloth with light soap to clean off oil stains. 3. Then wipe and clean with a dry cloth. 5. Never use polish or any corrosive liquid that will damage the paint, metal or plastic. WARNING: Unplug the product from the electrical supply before cleaning.
