WGD PRODUCTIONS- 2018 RULES AND REGULATIONS *AS OF 01/15/18* GENERAL SETUP AND SAFETY RULES FOR ALL CLASSES AND PROTECTION OF DRIVERS/SPECTATORS CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES IN THE PIT AREA. DRIVER MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO COMPETE. IF UNDER 18- PARENT/GUARDIAN PERMISSION HAS TO BE GIVEN AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION WITH PROPER ID FROM BOTH DRIVER AND PARENT/GUARDIAN FOR ALL 16 & 17 YEAR OLDS (etc. Driver s License, State Photo ID card) ALL VEHICLES MUST HAVE ROOF SIGNS. LAWNMOWERS MUST HAVE HOOD SIGNS. 1. The destruction derby is designed to destroy cars and in the interest of safety anyone entering is subject to the following rules and regulations that are hereby set forth by the track where you are competing. 2. The following must be removed: All glass, original gas tanks, all seats except driver s seat, head and tail lights, all chrome, wipers, antenna, door handles, mirrors and sun visors, rear compartments of station wagons and all other loose items. 3. All gas tanks must be removed and replaced with a 5 gallon metal gas can- inside of the car secured and covered. Cars with gas tanks on the outside, plastic or tin cans will not be permitted to run. Must use a metal fuel cell or military can. **Fuel injected cars Any hose connection must be done in braided steel line or fuel injection hose clearly marked, must have a kill switch on the fuel pump and all fittings must be double clamped.** These rules are not only for the driver s safety but MANDATORY to compete, as fuel injection systems are pressurized and can burst regular rubber fuel lines. A kill switch on cars with electronic fuel pumps is MANDATORY and must be MARKED CLEARLY. 4. Long pants, long-sleeved shirt, work boots, gloves, eye protection and DOT helmet are all mandatory. If excessive cutting of fire wall and transmission tunnel cut out, fire suit and transmission scatter shield will also be mandatory. 5. Brakes must work. No deliberate hitting of arena tires for braking purposes. 6. Tires 16 maximum. No liquid material in tires, water, foam, cement, etc. is permitted. Air only!! Inner tubes are allowed. No v-bar connecting tires. Tire in tire is allowed.. 7. If entry does not pass inspection or cannot be fixed to comply with rules, they will not run, there will be NO REFUND. 8. Stay in car and do not loosen safety belt or remove helmet until event is stopped or over or you will be disqualified. 9. If there is a safety issue, you will be disqualified. After second fire in same car, in same event, the car will be disqualified. You have 60 seconds to make a hit or not get hit. Last car to make hit wins, not last car running! 10. No deliberate hitting of driver s door. Do not use driver s door as a shield. You will get 1 warning. Officials will stop the race to give out warnings. Page 1 of 17

11. No teamwork or double-teaming. If you are caught teaming up, one or both drivers will be disqualified. No holding and hitting that will get driver/drivers disqualified as well. 12. No fresh painting of inside of cars!! No undercoating/painting underneath, inside or on frame. 13. Exhaust coming out of hoods must be pointed straight up. If exhaust is considered to be pointed in a direction of danger to the fans or other drivers, the car will be disqualified. 14. Only stock wheels can be used. Valve stem protectors will be allowed. All thread through rims are not permitted. All wheel weights and hubcaps must be removed. 15. Battery mounted to floor (not seat) must be separated to at least 2 feet from relocated gas can and secured firmly in place. Battery must be covered. Two batteries are permitted (i.e. 12 or 14 volt). 24 volt batteries are NOT permitted. 16. See specific rules for each class for more details. 17. The officials reserve the right to re-inspect cars at any time during the event and all decisions are FINAL. 18. When being pulled from arena, cars MUST remain shut off for safety. 19. WGD Productions is NOT liable for any medical bills that drivers or fans may receive for medical treatment at our events. ***Official s decisions are final. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and can cause removal from the grounds and future events. 2018 WGD PRODUCTIONS POWERWHEEL RULES 1. Stock battery may be replaced with a 12 volt lawn mower battery only. May be placed under hood and secured. You may cut out some of the engine bay to fit the battery. 2. Secure hood and doors so they do not come open. No quads or gators. It must have something protecting legs. It must be a vehicle-type powerwheels. 3. Must have some type of seat belt. 4. Must wear a helmet. 5. May have a rollover bar made from plastic pipe. 6. Must be completely stock, no modifying of anything, only what is stated!!!! 7. No lowering or raising of front or rear. 8. Ages 4 to 10 years old. 9. 15 minute time limit. This is to be a fun event for the kids. Page 2 of 17

2018 WGD PRODUCTIONS LAWNMOWER RULES 1. Long pants, long sleeve shirt, work boots, gloves, eye protection and DOT helmet MANDATORY. 2. The garden lawnmower must have a factory frame. Homemade frames, adding metal to frame, is NOT PERMITTED. 3. Mowers must be factory available mowers or garden tractors. 4. Must be front engine mower. Rear engine mowers NOT PERMITTED. 5. All mowers must be belt driven someplace. 6. All mowers must have stock engine. 7. Transaxle must be factory. Reinforcing or spider gears are allowed. 8. May use 1/8 plate frame rail to frame rail to mount the engine. 9. MUST HAVE HOOD. Top of engine must be covered. Sides of stock hood may be cut off. If stock hood is plastic or fiberglass, may use 1/8 max plate to make one. Hood must be secure, welded, bolted, or screwed on. 10. Brakes must work when pulling in for heat race. You must also have forward and reverse. 11. Gas tank must be fastened with cap on. If it comes loose or gas leaks you will be disqualified. 12. LEG GUARDS ARE MANDATORY, MUST BE SOLID AND SECURED OR YOU WILL NOT RUN. They must go from rear fender to front foot rest or frame. It may go to front of hood, it must not touch hood. NO EXCEPTIONS. You must have ankle protection. It is to be maximum 1/8 plate from outside of leg guard to foot rest. Must be no higher than 20 from ground and no lower than axle to spindle from ground to side bars and bumpers cannot connect. Guard/cage frame must be made out of 2 x 1/8 minimum material. May run a back bar from hitch area to back of cage. Cannot touch bumper though. 13. Front and rear bumpers are to be max 3 pipe, square tube, angle, or C channel. If using angle or C channel, flat side must be facing out. Bumpers cannot extend past the inside of the tires- front and back. Bumpers cannot extend out more than 12 inches from the frame (to the face of the bumper). Bumper arms may be welded or bolted to the side of the frame, however they may not come past the center line of the axle. 14. You may change pulleys to increase speed. 15. No mower decks!! You must remove all plastic items and headlights except hood. 16. Front plate of frame, grill area, may be strengthened using 2 x 1/8 max material- for hitting purposes only. 17. Exhaust stacks to be straight, no angle cuts allowed. 18. If driver rolls over or any part of their body touches the track, they are disqualified. 19. In the event of a rollover, the heat will be stopped until officials get the mower back upright. 20. Put your number on hood sign, no sharp edges! Must have a hood sign. Page 3 of 17

21. Minimum 8 inch, maximum 12 inch rear wheel and minimum 4 inch and maximum 10 inch front wheels to be used. Stock wheels only. Tractor/Ag tires only- NO ATV, AUTO, OR SOLID TIRES ARE PERMITTED! No wheel weights or bead locks permitted. Tire chains may be used on rear tires only. If using tire chains, they must be wired or bolted together so they cannot come off for safety purposes. AIR ONLY IN TIRES! 22. Fender shifters must have a protective guard/cage around them. May be plated solid but the rest of the back and side cage cannot be plated. 23. No teaming or hold and hit. ALL INVOLVED WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. 24. Tie rods may be changed/strengthened. Spindles may be gusseted. 25. Do not go past officials on track. Stay in your allowed arena space. YOU WILL GET DISQUALIFIED. *** No exceptions! If your tractor does not comply, you will not run. NO REFUNDS. 2018 WGD PRODUCTIONS MODIFIED LAWNMOWER RULES 1. Any factory lawn or garden tractor frame may be used. Frame may be plated- ¼ plate maximum. 2. Bumpers are to be 3 maximum pipe, tube, angle or C channel. Cannot extend out more than 12 from frame. 3. 6 minimum, 12 maximum- rear wheel, 4 minimum 10 maximum front wheel to be used. Bead locks may be used. Must have 1 inspection hole. No solid wheels or added weight permitted. Tractors/Ag tires only- - NO ATV, AUTO, OR SOLID TIRES ARE PERMITTED! Air only. 4. May cage anything except wheels. Wheels must remain open. No plating below fenders. 5. Gas engines only. Engines may be built. 6. Rear ends may be braced and lowered. 7. May change out or modify steering. 8. Belt driven only (Must have belt somewhere). 9. May change pulleys to increase speed. 10. No teaming or hold and hit. ALL INVOLVED WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. 11. 2018 WGD PRODUCTIONS COMPACT RULES (These same rules apply to Compact Powder Puff Event Also) General setup and safety rules apply for this class. 1. Compact cars will consist of rear wheel drive cars (106 wheelbase or smaller) and any front wheel drive car (except for 1985 and older Eldorado, Tornado or Riviera). 2. No wedged sedans or smash top wagons. 3. Factory gas tanks must be removed! You must use a metal 5 gallon fuel cell mounted tightly inside of the car. Mount it wisely and not against or close to a door, if it is damaged, loose or leaking during the race, you will be shut down! Must use steel or fuel injection hose, must be clearly marked and double clamped. You must have a fuel shut off switch, clearly marked FUEL! NO BUCKETS- military cans permitted. 4. Maximum 16 inch tires, no studs or self-tappers. They may be stuffed with a tire inside of a tire and tube. You may also mount a sidewall on the outside. Valve stem protectors allowed. No connected Vbar tires allowed. Water, foam, cement and etc. are not allowed. Factory OEM rims, you may use no bigger than an 8 inch weld in center. 5. Over flow hose must be pointed towards the ground (crowd safety). WATER ONLY, NO EXPANDABLE FOAM, AND ANTIFREEZE IS NOT PERMITTED. 6. Radiators cannot be relocated. They may be banded in two spots to the core support, not held in with expandable foam. 7. You may leave dash in car but remove anything that could come out. Example: Radio, ashtray, rear speakers, airbags, etc. 8. Must have roof sign with driver number. DRIVE TRAIN: 1. Rear wheel drives may run V8 motors. Motor mounts may be welded solid. 2. Rear wheel drive cross member cannot be wider than 5 and must be bolted within 12 of factory location. 3. Cannot weld front mount pipe or tube to core support. Must be bolted too motor mount bracket on core support. Front wheel drives may replace motor mount wishbones with pipe or square tubing. Mounts may be solid. 4. FWD transmission mounts may be welded solid with an 8 long x 2 wide by 1/4" thick steel plate. 5. Front wheel drives must have factory CV shafts. 6. Rear wheel drives cannot use slider drive shafts. Factory drive shafts may be shortened or extended. 7. Center sections may be welded to achieve positive traction. 8. You may mount a transmission cooler inside of driver compartment. All lines must be secure and double clamped. Page 5 of 17

9. Carb protectors are permitted, must be BOLTED to intake or motor mounts only. Cannot connect to core support. SUSPENSION: 1. 20 maximum bumper height on fresh cars and 22 on reruns. This will be measured from the bottom of the bumper to the ground (if no bumper, it will be measured from the bottom of the frame rail to the ground). Suspension may be welded to achieve maximum height by welding the struts solid. May change springs. 2. Struts may not be reinforced. May use 1" all thread in place of strut stem 3. No leaf spring conversions. Maximum of 5 leafs per side with minimum 2 stair step in cars with factory leafs. No homemade clamps. 4. Rear trailing arms may be replaced with 2 x 2 tube or pipe or factory trailing arms stuffed with 1 inch rebar, stitch welded only. 5. You may modify the factory tie rods for strength. BUMPERS: 1. Any OEM bumper (except Chrysler pointy) may be used. It may be seam welded without any extra metal added. If bumper ends are capped off, you must have one 2 inch inspection hole on each end of the bumper. Rear bumper may be seam welded also. No loaded or homemade bumpers may be used. 2. You may hard nose the bumper or use 1 3/4" maximum tube diameter bumper shocks. Shock cannot be slid into the frame the whole way, must be mounted factory. You may shorten the front frame rails if hard nosing. 3. You may weld a 6 x 9 inch, 1/2" thick plate on each end of your bumper, only 1 plate, for mounting purposes. This is meant to give you a flat surface for hard nosing to the frame. 4. If hard nosing, you may weld a 3 long square tube or pipe, 3 in diameter, onto your 6 x 9 x 1/2" mounting plate. This then can be slid into your frame rail maximum 3 and welded. If you go over 3, you will cut the excess off! You may not tie it into body mounts! 5. If hard nosing, instead of using tube or pipe, you may weld 2 angle iron, 1/4" thick to make a box on the bumper mounting plate. It then can be slid over the frame rail to overlap on the frame. It may then be welded or bolted to the car frame. It can only be on the outside of the frame and bumper. 6. You may use 2 twisted together strands of 9 wire or max 3/8 chain (chain may be welded at connecting points). You can have one on each side of the car from bumper to the top of the core support or from bumper to the top of the car frame. 7. May weld one 10 L x 3 W x ¼ T plate on the outside of the front frame. Must have a minimum of one 1 inspection hole to see inside of frame. Stitch welds only- 3 x 3. BODY AND FRAME: 1. Driver s door may be welded solid. You may use a protective panel, it can be welded solid and extend 3 past door seams. Page 6 of 17

2. Passenger doors and trunk lid may be welded on the outside using a 3 x 3 plate, 1/4" inch thick, spaced 3 apart. You may also weld them with a 6 x 6 plate 1/4" thick, spaced 6 apart. Instead of welding your doors or trunk lid shut, you may use either 1 x 1/4" thick banding, 3/8 chain or 3/8 bolts every 6. 3. Absolutely no seam welding on the body, car frame or sub frame or tilting! Trailer hitches and braces must be removed. No plating, pinning, heat treating or welding shut factory holes on the car frame or sub frame! Do not paint frame or bumper backs! No exceptions, you will cut it! 4. Front windshield bar is mandatory, only one. It may be connected from the cowl or front dash bar to the roof or to the rollover bar. You may use pipe, 9 wire, leaf spring, chain etc. to do this, welded or bolted. You have the option of one rear window bar, connected from the speaker deck to the trunk lid to the roof, welded or bolted. Maximum one 6 x 6 x ¼ plate to attach rear on speaker deck/trunk lid. 5. Wire or chain from body to the roof is not permitted! 6. Patches on rusted cars may be patched with plates the same thickness as what you re patching. It can only be stitch welded 1 on and 1 off. You must prove rust! 7. No more than 4 repair plates on reruns, 3 x 3, 1/4 thick plate. It must be stitch welded 1 on and 1 off. Must prove damage. 8. Body creasing will be limited to 2 body lines. 9. Trunk lids must have two 8 inspection holes, you may use six 3/8 bolts to bolt the skins together around that hole. Trunk lid may be dished 6 max from fender, factory height. Factory trunk lid only- no car hoods. Trunk lid may be removed or tucked. You may weld two 3 spots from trunk to floor if you re tucking. You may cut out speaker deck but the trunk lid can be welded to the quarter panels and tail light assembly only! NO extra metal added to the inside of the trunk! Pre-ran cars with dished trunk lids can be ran up until the fair. Cannot run last years pre-packed cars Championship night. 10. You may replace stock body mount bolt with a 1/2" bolt and use a 3 x 3 washer on the top and bottom. This must be done same as factory! 1 rubber spacer top and bottom must remain same as factory. No welding body mount spacer to top or bottom. No added body mounts. If rusted out, you may repair using Body Rule #6. 11. Gas tank lid must be stitch welded shut 1 on, 1 off or you may use 3 x 3 by 1/4" thick plates. Door handle holes may be stitch welded shut with a 1/4" thick max plate, can overlap door handle hole by 1. 12. Car must have stock hood in stock location. Hoods must be open for inspection. You may cut off excess hood and bolt skins together with four 3/8 max bolts. You may also fold excess hood down but cannot be welded or bolted to anything! No folding excess hood over and creating a double effect. Minimum one 12 hole in the hood to enable firemen to put out fires. You may bolt the skins together with ten 3/8 max bolts around that hole. 13. You can have up to six hood bolts, 5/8 max bolt. Hood washers can be up to 4 in diameter by 1/4" thick. 14. Fender wells may be cut out. Inner and outer panels may not be welded together anywhere. Finder wells may be bolted in the following way, four 3/8 max bolts with 2 washers. Page 7 of 17

15. You may crease or cut the top of the rear frame rails. You may also pre bend the rear end of the car up but must adhere to the height limit. 16. Core supports may not be moved back. 17. You may weld a side bar from dash bar to the rear driver s seat bar, connecting them together (max 4 pipe or square tube). Rear bar is mandatory, it must be mounted securely behind the driver s seat from door post to door post (not to the floor). You may use a (6 x 6, 1/4" thick) steel plate welded to each end of the dash and rear bars to help you connect it to the door post and front panels. This 6 x 6 plate may then be welded or bolted with four 1/2" bolts to the door post and front panels. 2. You may have a rollover bar (4 max- pipe or square tube). It can be connected to the rear driver seat bar only. It must be horizontal and connected together on the outside of the roof. It may touch the roof. May be bolted in 2 spots using ½ bolts and a maximum of 3 x 3 x ¼ plate on underside of roof or welded two 3 welds. 3. You may have a gas tank protector (3 in diameter) pipe or square tube. Two pipes 24 apart, welded to the driver seat bar and connected together in the rear. It may angle down towards the rear floor boards but must remain 2 minimum from the floor and 3 minimum from speaker deck or trunk. 4. Rear window bar from the roof to speaker deck/trunk. 2018 WGD PRODUCTIONS FULL-SIZE RULES (These same rules apply to Full-size Powder Puff Event Also) 1. 1980s and newer or mid-size 70 s. No limos, no compacts. 5 gallon metal gas cans and battery must be moved and secured. Tanks must be behind driver seat. Batteries on passenger floor. Must have a roof sign with the driver s number on it. 2. Stock fuel tanks must be removed. 5 gallon metal tank/fuel cells must be mounted inside of car behind driver s seat. May use gas tank protector- gas tank protectors must not touch rear compartment, must not touch rear deck. Gas tank protectors must be floating. Maximum of 24 wide. Protectors must be attached to rear seat bar only. 3. Battery or batteries must be located on passenger side floor. No more than 2 batteries are permitted. 4. May use tranny cooler. Must be secured and safe. 5. Oil fuel & tranny lines must be secured & double clamped or proper fitting used. SUSPENSION: 1. No suspension modifications allowed, must remain strictly stock. No aftermarket spindles or tie rods. Suspension must bounce, strictly enforced! 2. No new springs allowed. No stuffing spring pockets. Springs may be stretched. Front springs in front, rear springs in rear. They can be wired or hose clamped or 1 weld top and 1 weld bottom to be secured. 3. Control arms may be chained to gain height. May weld two links to frame and control arm. Center links must remain free, loose (CANNOT WELD SOLID). 4. No Watts link conversion kits allowed to be used. However, you may move stock brackets from outside to inside without adding metal or welding. STOCK TRAILING ARMS MUST BE USED. STOCK PIECES ONLY- NO BOLT ON KITS. BUMPERS: 1. 1970s and newer car stock bumpers (no Chrysler Pointed style). No reinforcement. You may cut ends of bumper. Chrome may be welded down. You may weld 2 front and rear chain links on top and bottom of frame and 2 links on bumper to keep bumper from falling off. All other links must be loose. Maximum front and rear height 20 on fresh, 22 on pre-run. May use chain frame to lower A arm to set maximum bumper height 3/8 max, one chain per side. Not allowed to collapse bumper shocks and weld chain. 2. May weld bumper to bumper shocks. Shocks may also be welded, (on) factory weld shock to plate on bumper shock, 1 on, 1 off. Can use one 6 x 9 x (1/2") plate only stitch welded on, 1 on, 1 off, Hard Nosing Front or Rear bumper is not allowed. Shocks have to work. Page 9 of 17

FRAME: 1. No welding of frames allowed, unless rust repair. Must prove rust. Pre-ran cars may use fix plates- 3 x 3 x 1/8 maximum. Must be stitch welded, 1 on, 1 off. Fix plates must have minimum 1 hole in them- max 4 plates per car. 2. Only lower stock engine mount may be welded or chained. 3. Rear frame may be dimpled and/or cut- no pre bending of frame though. 4. If relocating transmission cross member, 2 pieces of 3 angle iron, 6 inches wide, may be welded to the frame. Sides only. Top must not be welded. BODY: 1. Sheet metal is to remain in stock position, no shaping, forming, creasing will be allowed. May tuck trunk 1 foot maximum allowed. May be welded in two spots- 3 maximum. Must have two 8 holes in trunk lid. 2. Hood must be 100% in stock location, open for inspection. May use six bolts total for hood. If using 1 through core support & frame, you may only use 4 additional ½ bolts. 3. Fasten doors with a 3 x 3 x 1/8 plate maximum, 3 on, 3 off. May weld driver s door solid. 4. May weld trunk, 3 on, 3 off, may weld 2 spots to floor 3 maximum, or chain with 3/8 maximum or band with 1 maximum. 5. No excessive cutting through tranny hump and firewall. 12 x 12 maximum hole in firewall. BODY MOUNTS: 1. May change body bolts but must retain stock 3 body mount rubbers with factory cone spacers between the body and frame. Body mounts to be 1/2" bolt maximum with one 3 x 1/4" plate, top or bottom. Strictly enforced. Plate or washers may not be welded or bolted to frame. You may be asked to remove new body mount bolts to check. 2. 3 inch spacer under core support maximum. Cannot be welded to support or frame. CAGE: 1. May run one dash bar and one bar behind seat from post to post, 4 maximum pipe or tube. May run door bars to be attached, dash pipe to seat pipe, maximum 4 pipe or tube. 2. Must have a brace coming from firewall to roof for driver s safety. 3. Optional rear bar speaker deck to roof, splitting seam on 6 x 6 x ¼ plate, trunk to deck. 4. Maximum size of window bar, 2 x 1/4" round, square or flat. Must run one front window bar max. 5. Driver s doors must be padded or door panel on. 6. May run 1 halo bar- 4 max- pipe or tube, attached to rear seat bar. CAN NOT BE WELDED TO DOOR OR DOOR POSTS. 2018 WGD PRODUCTIONS PRO CLASS RULES PRO CLASS 1960 S AND NEWER, NO IMPERIALS 1973 OR OLDER OR IMPERIAL SUB FRAMES (These same rules apply to truck 2WD only, no dual wheels) BUMPERS: 1. Bumpers may be cut to remove sharp edges. Chain around bumpers may be welded or bolted to bumper shock to keep bumper from falling off. Max 3/8 and maximum 3 links welded to frame on each end. Bumper chrome may be welded to face plate, top and bottom. All bumpers must have chronic and stock backing. Front bumpers only can be loaded. All work must be done inside. Maximum 1/2 plating may be used, no larger than 6 x 9 welded onto bumper shock plate if a different make bumper is being used. Only 1 plate per side. No extra reinforcement to be added to frame rail. Cars cannot have pipe in frame rail to mount front bumper or have bumper shocks inside frame rails if bumper is mounted straight to frame. 2 strands of 9 wire core support to bumper in 2 places only. Rear bumper 6 x 9 x 1/2 plate per side may be used. 2 x 1/4 cups to mount to weld to frame and not to be welded to body or frame. 2. Front and rear bumper height to be 24 max and 16 minimum to bottom of bumper checked in 3 places. 3. DEC bumpers allowed. Front bumper may be loaded only. SUSPENSION: 1. No special bracing or reinforcing of suspension or body. Front bottom control arm or upper control arm may be welded to spring pocket only, outside only, NOT BOTH. It must be done in the following ways: upper control arms may be folded down to frame and welded with no metal added or one 2 x 2 x 1/4 strap from A-arm to frame on each side of A-arm or one 3 x 3/8 strap per side from lower control arm to frame. 2. After market tie rods and ends are allowed. Sway bar can be welded to frame 2 only per side. Stock, not shortened or lengthened. 3. Homemade or aftermarket shocks are allowed. Maximum 1 diameter all thread instead of shocks are permitted. Shocks must be in stock locations. No welding of eyes. 4. Coil to leaf conversions NOT allowed. 5. Coil springs may be welded, wired, banded, bolted or chained. No coils inside of coils will be permitted. 6. Leaf springs: All cars with leaf springs may have 9 springs on each side including the main springs and may be 5/16 thick max. Max 2 ¼ wide springs must have a minimum of 1 stair step starting from the eye bolt. All springs must be mounted under the main axle tube. (Except trucks) Springs may be clamped with factory tin clamps only, 2 behind axle and 2 in front per side. 7. Rear control arm, ¼ plate maximum, may stitch weld 1 on 1 off and drill two 1 holes for inspection, bottom of arm only or square tubing (ZTR). Page 13 of 17

8. 1998 and newer-watts-link conversion for Fords. You may convert a Watts-Link to a standard 4 Link system in the following ways: Use the upper and lower trailing arms and brackets off of 1980 s and newer Ford. Aftermarket brackets are allowed but no thicker than ¼ and maybe attached with maximum of 3 ½ bolts on each side or use conversion kit (ZTR). FRAME: 1. No frame seam welding, pinning or plating (only where permitted). 2. May weld top frame seam fire wall forward, single ½ pass per side on front frame. 3. Allowed one per rail (4 x 11 x ½ ) front frame horn on outer side (preferred). Must be attached to end of front frame (except 03 and newer). 4. Hump plates 24 x 6 x ¼ contoured to hump or straight, flat stock only. No cut, channel or angle. Must be centered in stock hump. Leaf spring cars 12 x 6 x ¼ hump plates. 5. No shaping of humps if running hump plates. 6. Re-stubbing must be butt welded only not slid together. 7. I moving cross member, 10 maximum angle iron 3 x 3 x ¼ thick allowed for tranny cross member mounting points. 8. Skid plates may be welded on oil pan and transmission pan (separately), no more than 1 wider than part. 9. Patches: rusted cars may be patched 3 x 3 x 1/8 only. Max 4 patches allowed. Stitch weld patches 1 on 1 off. Patch one side only (must prove rust). 10. Reruns: Up to four 4 x 4 x 1/8 max plates with 1 hole in center to see damage, 1 on 1 off stich weld. For driver safety, rerun cars must have trunk/tailgate bent down or have an opening cut to see backward repair at jack point. Allowed on reruns if it had to be replaced. Weld repairs for reruns in front of control arm must be butt welded. No added metal. 11. If repairs are necessary, frames must be factory frame, same year and model as car. Hybrid frames are NOT PERMITTED. 12. Tilting may be done at drivers discretion, all make and models, no added metal. May run 2 kickers 2 x 2 pipe or square tube from dash bar to behind A-arms if running motor protectors, cradles or trans protectors. Distributor protector must be 4 from dash bar pipe to run kickers also. 13. 03 and newer: Bolt/weld in stock Ford cradle 3/16 plate, 1 pass weld to cradle, bolted in stock location. Maximum 1 pass mounting holes on plate. Upper A-Arm single pass weld (1980 s and newer Ford style arms). Front frame to remain stock length (no shortening). Holes in front of frame must be left open. To mount steering box you may weld to a tube ½ max to the top and bottom of frame. Do not weld excessively, do not pin frame to mount the steering box. Hard nose only. No bumper shocks permitted (inside or outside of frame). If mounting spring under frame you may weld two ¼ gussets to spring bracket only. Cars must be marked 03 and newer. 14. If running motor chains, (2 max), 3/8 max size must bolt from motor to upper A-arm. Mounting engine and trans only 3 points, 2 motor, 1 tranny, no mid mounts. Page 14 of 17

BODY: 1. Limos are NOT PERMITTED in 1960 s or newer, must be hard top. Smash top wagons, smash back sedans, wedged trunks are NOT PERMITTED. No folding of quarter panels over trunk lids. Smashing of tops of rear quarters throughout will be considered wedged. Quarter must be vertical and original height. IF YOU WEDGE QUARTERS, YOU WILL NOT RUN!!! 2. First runs: Quarter panels on all makes must remain the factory height. Reruns: No smashing of quarters. Trunk lids must remain in original location. You may tuck trunks. Trunk lid may be welded to trunk floor maximum 3 on each side. You may cut speaker deck out but you can only weld trunk to quarter panels and tail light panel. Lower quarters can be folded up to trunk floor but not welded or bolted. 3. Trunk lid must have minimum of two 10 inspection holes. Maximum twelve 3/8 bolts total permitted around cuts, NOT PER CUT. Trunk may be welded to floor and front speaker deck edge 3 on 3 off only, not solid. 4. Drivers door must have protected panel on it. Minimum 1/8, maximum ¼ no wider than 3 past door seams. 5. Body creasing will be limited to 2 body lines. Do not fold or crease over creating a double or triple effect. 6. Fender wells may be cut out. Inner and outer panels may not be welded together anywhere. No riveting of inner or outer fenders, hoods or trunks. Fender wells may be bolted in the following way: Four 5/8 bolts with 2 washers. 7. Outer body seams, doors, fenders and trunk, may be welded solid using 3 x ¼ strap on passenger doors, trunks and station wagon tailgates (in lieu of outside welds, station wagon tailgates may have a 3 x 3 x ¼ angle, 3 long on inside every 3 on bottom only) NOT BOTH. You may not weld both inside and outside. Cars may be wired, banded, bolted and chained in the same way. Driver s door may be welded solid if desired. Banding every 6 on passenger doors and trunk, bands may be no larger than 1 ¼ wide. Chains must be at least ¼ thick. No welding or bolting to frame and bumpers. BODY SEAMS MAY NOT BE WELDED. Wires from hood to roof are NOT PERMITTED. 8. Vehicles must have stock hood in stock location. Hoods must be open for inspection. 5/8 bolts max with no larger than a 3 x ¼ washer to hold hood down. See rule #3 in body mounts. Minimum 8 hole (with excess sheet metal removed from hole) must be cut in hood to enable firemen to put out fires without lifting hood. Maximum twelve 3/8 bolts total permitted around cuts, NOT PER CUT. 9. Make sure cooling fans are covered by hood. 10. Patches: Rusted cars may be patched with same thickness as original metal only. 16 gauge metal max. Stitch weld patches 1 on 1 off. Patch one side only. You must prove rust. 11. Must have roof sign with driver s number. BODY MOUNTS: 1. Body mounts may not be moved. Body mounts to 5/8 max with one 3 x ¼ plate. Plate or washers may not be welded or bolted to frame. 2. Body mount spacers 3 round maximum 1 high minimum. Cannot be welded directly to frame or body. Body mounts are required. 3. Core support mounting bolts may pass through core support bracket, core support and hood. This counts as 2 hood mounting bolts. Max 1 all thread. Core support spacers may be welded to body mount brackets. Brackets may be replaced with 3 x 2 x ¼ angle, not relocated. 2 x 2 square tube or pipe may be used for core support spacers. Bottom core to frame only, not all the way to the hood. CAGE: 1. Carb protector, distributor protector and engine cradles are allowed. Protectors and cradles cannot touch frame in any way. They can be as wide as intake. If you choose one of these protectors, it must be a minimum of 1/8 from any pipe running across the dash before you start the heat. If you run kickers, space is 4. THEY ARE NOT TO BE USED AS REINFORCEMENTS. 2. A steel bar or pipe max 6 must be mounted securely behind the driver s seat from door post to door post (not to floor). A steel bar or pipe 6 max may be mounted across the dash also. You may run a max of 4 plates, 2 on driver s side compartment, 2 on passenger compartment, to be attached from dash pipe to firewall (max size 3 width by 8 length), no thicker than ¼ diameter. Maximum 8 from outside of dash bar. This is to stabilize the firewall from coming into the driver s compartment only. Recommended mounting plate size to be no larger than 6 x 6 x ¼ flat plate, maximum 6 behind center post. Postless cars may have one 3/8 x 3 plate from sheet metal to sheet metal in place of post. You may put pipes on driver side and passenger side to horizontally to be welded (attached) to front pipe and rear pipe only on rear pipe. Max 6 C channel or 3 pipe allowed. Pipes may not be attached to driver s door or passenger door and not exceed front or rear pipe. Roll bar max 3 diameter and minimum 1 above roof attached to rear bar only. May tie center of roof to roll bar in three spots using three 1 welds or three single strands of 9 wire. Roll bar must be 4 from floor, not welded to floor. 3. Gas tank protectors may not touch rear compartment, may not touch rear deck. Gas tank protectors must be floating (24 wide max). Gas tank protectors will be attached to seat bar only and only to consist of three horizontal bars or tubes. 4. One strap or chain from roof to cowl is mandatory for driver s safety. Not to extend past center of car. Two straps may be used, must be no closer than headers. One rear bar maximum. Max size of window bar 2 x ¼ round, square or flat. Must be welded to roof, speaker deck, trunk lid splitting seam on 3 x 3 plate. MISC: 1. Radiators cannot be relocated. They may be banded (to bands max) to core support vertically or horizontally. Chrysler radiator mounting bracket to be 3 x 3 x ¼ x 6 long max to be mounted to core support. 2. Over flow must be pointed towards the ground and attached so it will not spray forward. WATER ONLY, NO EXPANDABLE FOAM, AND ANTIFREEZE IS PERMITTED. 3. Radiators may have window screen or ¾ expandable wire (attached with four 4 x ½ max strap) to protect from flying objects or mud. Homemade grates, grids, cover plates and cooling systems will not be permitted. Radiators can only be mounted to core support. Page 16 of 17

4. All cooling systems must be under the hood. No cooling systems inside the car (driver s compartment). Tranny cooler may be relocated behind front seat. Tranny cooler may be connected to seat bar or floor, NOT BOTH. Tranny lines must be covered. Air cleaners are mandatory. 5. Relocated gas container must be secured firmly behind driver s seat in metal approved cans. Boat cans will be accepted. Max 10 gallon gas can only. 6. Tires 16 max. Liquid material (water, foam, cement, etc) will NOT BE PERMITTED. Air only. No connecting V bar tires. Tubes and tire in tire are allowed, weld in small centers. Wheel protectors and bead locks are allowed. 7. Max 8 bolt rear ends on cars (NO split rims). IF YOUR ENTRY DOES NOT PASS INSPECTION, YOU WILL NOT RUN. NO EXCEPTIONS! NO REFUNDS!
