The series features non-combination starters with class 10 thermal overload relay protection, compact IEC components that are NEMA-rated, phase loss detection, overcurrent and short circuit protection in a robust design that meets UL & CSA requirements (standardized grounding). The long life cycle, flexibility and ease of use make it ideal for industrial and commercial applications. Suitable for motors ranging from 0.5HP up to 100HP and from 120VAC up to 230VAC in single phase versions, from 208VAC to 600VAC in the three phase version. Enclosure Types: NEMA Type 1 for indoor use. Suitable for most applications that require corrosion-treated sheet steel. NEMA Type 3R for outdoor use. Primarily intended for applications where falling rain, sleet or external ice formations are present. Enclosure is sheet steel, treated to resist corrosion. NEMA Type 12 for indoor use. Provides a degree of protection from non-corrosive dripping liquids, falling dirt and dust. Enclosure is sheet steel, designed to meet tests for drip, dust and rust resistance. NEMA Type 4/4X for indoor or outdoor use. Provides protection from splashing water, hose-directed water and wind blown dust or rain; Enclosure is sheet steel (NEMA 4) or stainless steel (NEMA 4X) to additionally resist salt spray corrosion tests. features include combination and non-combination types with Class-10 and Class-20 overload protection.
