Page 2 of 6 "WARNINGS" WARNING: Installing or operating this equipment without first understanding the proper installation and operation procedures can lead to serious injury or death. Always read and understand fully all installation and operation manuals before installing or operating this equipment. WARNING: Welding, oxy-fuel cutting, or grinding sparks can cause fuel to ignite that in turn can lead to injury or death. Always take adequate steps to avoid ignition of fuel from fuel tanks when welding, grinding, or oxy-fuel cutting during equipment installation. WARNING: Heat from the truck's exhaust system can cause hydraulic component failure and may lead to a fire that could cause injury or death. Always install equipment in locations where heat from the exhaust system will not damage any hydraulic component. WARNING: Being under a raised body can result in serious injury or death should the body unexpectedly descend. Never position yourself or allow others to position themselves under a loaded body. Always prop the unloaded body up using the body prop or body props supplied. Remember body props are to be used only on an unloaded body. When two props are provided, both props must be used. WARNING: Malfunctioning equipment can cause property damage, injury or death. Always have faulty equipment repaired before continuing its use. Consult the manufacturer if required. WARNING: Overloading of a body can cause vehicle or body component damage or an accident which may cause injury or death. Never exceed the gross vehicle weight (GVW) or the gross axle weight (GAW) rating of your vehicle. WARNING: The inadvertent shorting of the vehicle's electrical supply can cause a fire or equipment damage that could lead to injury or death. Always disconnect the vehicle battery prior to installing, servicing, or repairing the power unit. WARNING: Damage to brake lines during equipment installation, or installing bolts or equipment in such a way that the line will rub and become damaged can lead to brake failure which can cause an accident and can lead to severe injury or death. Always take adequate steps to prevent brake line damage during installation and isolate brake lines from installed equipment.

Page 3 of 6 "GOOSENECK INSERT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS" The maximum Gross Load Capacity of the Gooseneck Insert, when used as a weight carrying hitch is: 30,000 lbs. Trailer Weight & 7,500 lbs. Tongue Weight. Other components, such as ball, chains, coupler, etc. may decrease the rated capacity. Always use the rating of the lowest rated component as the Maximum Gross Load Capacity. The Gooseneck Insert is designed with a hole for a ball with 1-1/4 diameter shaft. Do not install a ball with a smaller shaft. WARNING: Overloading of a body can cause vehicle or body component damage or an accident which may cause injury or death. Do not exceed the vehicle manufacturer s recommended towing capacity. 1. The Gooseneck Insert is designed to be installed in an Aluminum Rancher equipped with a gooseneck cutout. 2. Before placing the Aluminum Rancher on the truck, place the Gooseneck Insert into position from underneath. Fasten the Gooseneck Insert using two ½ bolts on each side. Only tighten hand tight. 3. Install the Rancher body onto the truck frame. A sleeper may be used to space the body up if needed. Securely attach the Rancher body to the truck frame. Bolts and brackets used to attach the body to the frame are not included in the kit. These must be supplied by the installer.

Page 4 of 6 4. Remove the previously installed ½ bolts from the Gooseneck Insert. 5. Bolt the supplied mounting plates to the Rancher. The bolts should pass through the mounting plate, through the aluminum longsills, and through the Gooseneck Insert. 2 bolts must be used to bolt each mounting plate to the Rancher. 6. Using the mounting plate as a template, drill ½ holes through the truck frame. Make sure to not damage any brake lines, fuel lines, wiring, etc. At least 2 bolts must be used to bolt each mounting plate to the truck frame. Torque all ½ fasteners to 90 ft-pounds.

Page 5 of 6 "LIGHT & DECAL INSTALLATION" 1. Install lights and decals per illustrations below.

Page 6 of 6 "GOOSENECK OPERATION" Maximum trailer GVW to be drawn: 30,000 lbs Rated vertical coupler load: 7,500 lbs The maximum Gross Load Capacity of the Gooseneck Insert, when used as a weight carrying hitch is: 30,000 lbs. WARNING: Overloading of a vehicle can cause vehicle or component damage or an accident which may cause injury or death. Do not exceed the vehicle manufacturer s recommended towing capacity. 1. Grease hitch ball regularly. This reduces wear and rust. 2. Keep gooseneck area free of dirt and debris. 3. Check for damaged parts before each use. Check for bent or warped metal. Check for cracked or failed welds. Check ball for excessive wear. Do not use if anything is damaged. 4.
