The shaf t is protected through the stuf f ing box with stainless steel or bronze sleev e. The sleev es are f itted with O rings with inside diaeters to eliinate leakage between the shaf t and the sleev e. / Casing: Double design v olute: the radial thrust on the bearing is iniu and lower than the one with single v olute design. High ef f iciency design. 5 Sof t packing (standard) or echanical (on request) Ipeller: One piece casted ipeller, with double suction. Due to the ipeller double suction design there s no axial thrust on the bearings. Ev ery ipeller is balanced statically and dy naically. Ipeller key ed to the shaf t and axially f ixed by two half rings: due to this solution, aintenance and ipeller disantling are sipler than the one with threaded shaf t sleev es. 7 Bearings: Two heav y duty ty pe bearings grease lubricated with grease f lush through the bearing housing. The bearing bracket is caref ully sealed of f on both sides to prev ent water or containants f ro seeping in.
