Soap manufacturing plant specifications 1. 20.000 liters capacity reactor. With a steam double closed circuit and double open circuit. Random at three levels with speed variation. This machine works introducing soap in liquid phase and inside it, the moisture and temperature are removed changing to solid phase. This system allows continuous operation with an average production of 900 kg / h., depending on the used base material. 4. Additives Mixer. 600 liters. With weight sensors. 5. Basic soap, additives and colour and perfums injectors Mixer. 2000 liters. With weight sensors. 6. SIGMA Linear multi-blades mixer with speed variator and weight sensors. 7. Special vacuum pumps for the transfer of basic ph. 8. Silos with capacity of 15 m3, with weight sensors, pneumatic valves and outputs prepared for screw conveyors. 9. Sleeves filter, with picker of particles and pneumatic divider for use of the product to the production circuit. Other usual maintenance is the lubrication of the different mechanical elements. The required electrical power for this facility is 90 kw The necessary amount of water to produce 1 Ton of soap powder is 300 lts. The required staff for the production of 70,000 kg / month of soap powder in bags of 150 gr is 5 workers. Reactor fabrication lead-time Manufacturing time for 10,000 kg of soap powder is 6 hours. For 15.000 litres of liquid soap is 4 hours. For 10.000 kg. of bar soap is 6 hours. All times these times are only for production, without packaging.

Installation dimensions The required space/meters required for the factory and raw materials are 800 m2 with a height of 9 m on the sides of the factory building and 12 m at the top of factory building. It is also necessary to have a exterior courtyard space around 700 m2.

Other compatible uses of the plant Base materia for animal feed Following its desing, the plant is also compatible to manufacture calcium soaps, which is the alternative nowadays to replace animal fat by vegetable fat in the manufacture of animal feed. According to several studies, this manufacturing change is been consolidated as the more interesting alternative because it shows that the daily consumption of these type of fats give as results of a better intestinal transit, a better milk and meat. The secondary consequence but not less important, is a fewer use of medicines in the animals, due to the increasing of their biological immunity. This new product is very interesting for animal feed manufacturers, thanks to the melting point that this new fat provides and the stability that it presents to oxidation, extending substantially the expiration date of their products as well as providing the capacity to resist more extreme weather conditions. This change of use is planned that by 2012, all animal feed manufactured or consumed in the EU will have to be produced in their entirety with these type of new fats. From the manufacturing of these fats to the manufacture of finished animal feed exists only a small step, because with some modifications can be manufactured the overall process. Bio-Diesel plant In the previous part to the neutralization of fatty acids with which we will work, there is an area in the process called prewash.
