Installation dimensions The required space/meters required for the factory and raw materials are 800 m2 with a height of 9 m on the sides of the factory building and 12 m at the top of factory building. It is also necessary to have a exterior courtyard space around 700 m2.
Other compatible uses of the plant Base materia for animal feed Following its desing, the plant is also compatible to manufacture calcium soaps, which is the alternative nowadays to replace animal fat by vegetable fat in the manufacture of animal feed. According to several studies, this manufacturing change is been consolidated as the more interesting alternative because it shows that the daily consumption of these type of fats give as results of a better intestinal transit, a better milk and meat. The secondary consequence but not less important, is a fewer use of medicines in the animals, due to the increasing of their biological immunity. This new product is very interesting for animal feed manufacturers, thanks to the melting point that this new fat provides and the stability that it presents to oxidation, extending substantially the expiration date of their products as well as providing the capacity to resist more extreme weather conditions. This change of use is planned that by 2012, all animal feed manufactured or consumed in the EU will have to be produced in their entirety with these type of new fats.
