NPS axially split multistage pumps NPS axially split multistage pumps are designed for use in process units of refineries, chemical processing and other industrial applications for pumping crude oil, oil products and similar liquids. NPS pumps meet all requirements of API 610 (11 ed.) This is a type of centrifugal, axially split multistage pumps with back-to-back impeller arrangement. Asynchronous or synchronous explosion proof (2ExdIIAT3) motors with 3000 rpm speed are used as a prime mover. The pumps are made in various climatic versions and designed to operate outdoor and in the premises where fire or explosion hazards may exist due to the presence of flammable gases or vapors, flammable liquids, combustible dusts, or easily ignitable fibers or flyings. Pump and motor are mounted on the common baseplate. The original equipment manufacturer is Bobruisk machine-building plant located in Bobruisk, Belarus, a part of HMS Group specializing in manufacturing of process pumps for various applications in oil & gas. Application Refineries and petrochemical plants Crude oil & oil products pipelines, including trunk pipelines Crude oil and oil products
Features, Advantages, Benefits NPS axially split multistage pumps Fig.1 Fig.2 6 4 Reliability 1 - Optimized diffuser to ensure high performance, low NPSH and minimal vibration. 1 10 5 Easy installation/maintenance 7 - Suction and discharge nozzles design according to DIN /ANSI /ISO; ANSI class 600. Py = 1500 psig. 2 - Reliable pump configuration provides smooth operation in areas with seismicity of up to 9 on a МSК-64 scale. 3 - Metal-to-metal hermetic horizontal split sealing to ensure high reliability. 8 8 - Mechanical seals comply with API 682. 9 - Bearing housings rigidly fitted in casing for quick and reliable alignment of rotor to stator. Reliable and long-life elastic diaphragm coupling reduces vibration and requires no maintenance. 10 - Thermal relief reduces the temperature of the shaft, mechanical seals and bearings. Low costs of operation Pump is mounted on the plate to ensure free movement of casing at temperature expansion. 4 - Replaceable wearing rings made of hard alloy materials for longer period of operation (Fig. 1). 5 - Lubrication and cooling system for bearings ensures their long service life. (Fig. 2). 6 - Rigid shaft design of increased diameter eliminates contact between rotating and fixed parts increasing service life of mechanical seals. 3 7 2 9 Multi-purpose Use of replaceable impellers and diffusers as well as change of stages significantly extends the range of capacity and head maintaining high performance without casing replacement. Material selection provides pump operation with various liquids, including aggressive. High pump efficiency reduces energy consumption. Rigid frame prevents misalignment of the pump and motor shafts.
