Ψ PSIDA Photovoltaic Systems Integrated Design and Automation. PSIDA DIY PVac660 fully integrated AC system The Sun is forever, don't you deserve the best in solar panel price and efficiency? PSIDA is making a unique offering utilizing our knowledge for optimum power production to offer the DIY PVac660 with easy to install hardware, flush mounted (pitched roofs) or low angle profile for flat roofs with our unique AR Tempered Glass which increases useable sunlight to the panel independent of time of day and orientation (does not apply to due North). PSIDA increases power production over typical solar fixed installations through unique optical and electronic enhancement approaches which reduce the impact of clouds, shade, solar tilt and panel direction of solar panels used in your overall system. Each PSIDA DIY PVac660 system supplies the customer with defined alternating current Voltage at 208, 230 or 240 volts fully compatible with 50 or 60 Hertz AC systems. Panel installations involve simple screwing down of the panels, male/female safety AC connectors and easy junction boxes to typical building wiring. Note that for safety reasons, the PVac660 produces no AC voltage or current until connected by the grid or to the SolaStor electrical storage system for off grid or on grid UPS, uninterrupted power service. The protective AR Tempered Glass protects the underlying solar panel from harmful Ultraviolet, hailstones, heavy rains, and debris with a tempering of the glass equivalent to that of an airplane pilot's window. Special coatings on the AR Tempered Glass reduces cleaning schedules and maximizes the amount of useful sunlight which gets to the solar panel. The on panel inverter electronics allow direct monitoring of each panel with the highest power factor transfer of any DC to AC conversion. Electrical storage efficiency >90% allows maximum use of sunpower generated every day which maximizes your return on investment specifically designed to address your power usage throughout the year with the 6 kwh and 36 kwh SolaStor standard product. Each PVac660 system provides a maximum AC power output of 3.5 amps and connects with other PVac660 systems through the AC harness in parallel producing up to 50 amps per circuit. Each panel is installed through simple parallel wiring this means the total current of the DIY PVac660 circuit is the total current obtained from the addition of current of each panel at specified voltage. Customers should not exceed the number of panels designed for each wiring harness and should not insert more than one circuit per junction/breaker of the junction/combiner panel. Other wiring specifications are related to the code of your area and you should refer to a licensed electrical installer or your respective utility for proper identification of code requirements.

Solar Panel antireflective glass characteristics: Note that PSIDA provides both fixed (ground or rooftop) and full polar tracking systems. We optimize power production by utilizing non-imaging optics and AR, antireflective coatings on our glass. Ths PVac660 rooftop system takes advantage of PSIDA's efforts in commercial, utility and residential to obtain maximum power production. The solar panel AR coating is a hard nanomaterial coating which eliminates UV Flame test calibrated at 1100 C for 10 minutes. Non-certified. Developed originally for use in the full polar tracking system. The Magnetic Sputtered Vacuum Deposited multiindex AR coatings used on the tempered pellicle glass increases overall transmission of light to the solar panel to almost 100%. The hardness of the coating protects the solar panel from sand, hailstones, rocks and flying debris while increasing power output.

It should be noted that sunlight does not reach the solar panels from directly overhead. In a fixed or rooftop system, typical solar power systems only provide maximum power at solar noon on one day out of the year. Even on hot summer days, if there are any clouds at best only 45% of the sun's rays are directly normal to the surface at any time. On winter days, the diffused light reflected off the snow can significantly increase your power production as long as you can capture that light at angles not perfectly perpendicular to the solar panel. PSIDA accomplishes this by use of a unique multi-index of refraction anti-reflective coating that increases the amount of light at shallow angles (for example - early in the morning) that reaches the solar panel. In addition, as can be seen in the graph, UV is eliminated below 400 nm and Infrared is reduced above 1200 nm. This reduces the amount of absorbed light in the solar cell, thus reducing its heat and increasing your power output. PSIDA maximizes our PVac660 system to provide maximum kwh per kw installed production at minimal cost per watt. This maximizes your return on investment! Electrical Storage. PSIDA provides standard storage sizes of 6 kwh and 32 kwh. Since we also build electric vehicles we benefit from the fact that every electric vehicle we build contains electrical storage. Thus we utilize the most robust and cost effective batteries, battery management system and chargers plus our PVac660 inverters to provide the most economical with highest power density versus volume, weight and cost of any Solar Power System supplier worldwide. PSIDA use a unique silicate gel battery in our electric storage system. The gel of this battery is essentially a fertilizer and contains no acids or dangerous chemicals. You can actually mix the gel directly into the ground and fertilize your plants. Thus recycle of the batteries is clean and Earth friendly. Since these are the same batteries as our electric vehicles, you benefit through the 8 year warranty and high volume discount that PSIDA obtains. The SolaStor electric storage system acts as the master driver when the grid is not present and as a current assist at all times to reduce brown out impacts on equipment, refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners. In the case of a complete grid power loss, a momentary response of 50 millisec or less occurs prior to switching to being a master controller, but no power support is lost.

Long Term Power Output. Inverter Technology. Most DC to AC inverters used for solar PV power use electrolytic capacitors to smooth out Voltage and Current fluctuations due to clouds over the solar panels. PSIDA uses a unique approach of radial capacitors and planar transformers internal to the inverter that eliminates having electrolytic capacitors on the AC side for smoothing out Voltage and Current output. The advantage of this approach is the inverter works the same 20 years down the road as when it was first installed. Elimination of Ultraviolet Decay of Encapsulate and Sealants. Plastics decay under ultraviolet light. Solar cells do not actually deteriorate with time as some people think. It is the plastic encapsulate which protects the solar cells from moisture and salt that deteriorate in UV exposure. Our PVac660 systems cut out UV below 400 nm, thus eliminating the "fogging" or yellowing issue which deteriorates power output. This is why its better to utilize a full system provider instead of just "shopping" for panels. PSIDA works towards the same high power output per sunlight available 20 years down the road as when you first install your system. Warranty. 20 year product warranty against manufacturing defect. 95% power warranty for 15 years, 90% for 25 years. Power is warranted against initial installation verification and NASA based model. If Pellicle glass is used, power warranty is 97% (15 years) and 93% (25 years) This includes the entire system consisting of solar panels, hardware and inverters. Warranty does not cover breakage due to vandalism, storms, floods, typhoons, hurricanes, typhoons, monsoons or winds above 125 mph or other acts of nature. Warranty does not cover damage by man, equipment, tools or other acts initiated by Man. The performance warranty is based on initial verification of performance to model predictions and replacement of any equipment that PSIDA deems worthwhile to replace even if that equipment is not faulty, just poor performance. The average power production is warranted to be no less than minus 15% of predicted model based on rolling 22 year average data provided by NASA.. Customer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the top side solar panels and for maintaining wiring condition related to mice, other rodents, snakes, ants or other natural pests that could cause shorts or damage to electrical wiring.
