For starters, the four independent tracks make a larger footprint for greater flotation. That lets you keep working as jobsite conditions change, and drive through wet spots you wouldn t dare with traditional tires or twin-track systems. QUADTRAC UNDERCARRIAGE A QUADTRAC TRACTOR offers full-power turns under load, unlike two-track systems that vary power to each track during turns no additional power is required to turn. Conventional articulated steering also reduces soil disturbance, letting the Quadtrac tractor turn with minimal ridging or berming.
