Filter fans Forced ventilation fans maintain the correct temperature inside the cabinet by exchanging heated inside air for cool outside air. Rapid installation - mounting without screws by pressing it into the enclosure. Slide opening - cover fixed to and released from base via sliding catches. SIZING When we use fan filters, we must have a target temperature inside the cabinet that is greater than the ambient temperature outside the cabinet (Te), which makes the difference (ΔT) between the inside and outside temperatures always positive. We can calculate the fanfiltered airflow by taking the ratio between the thermal power (Q ) and the temperature difference (ΔT) and multiply that by the heat transfer coefficient (f), which considers the physical properties of air, including heat and density which can change with altitude (m). This means that air flows into the enclosure through the filter fan unit without any dirt/dust and removes warm air from the enclosure through the outlet filter grid. If the filter fan unit is installed in the opposite direction, dust and dirt can enter into the enclosure along with cool air. The filter fan unit should be placed in the bottom third of the cabinet and the outlet filter grid should be placed as high as possible. Cooling units Our cooling units are designed to operate with an absolute minimum need of maintenance. They are environmentally friendly and do not need dirt collecting filter mats. Models are available with a cooling capacity range of W to 26 W. The introduction of the modern Flexmaster control technology has set new standards. Flexmaster allows you to connect cooling units and manage their individual or common settings. Easy to install (Plug&Play). Flexible temperature strategy: All units in the network usually follow the highest temperature in the row of cabinets. However, Flexmaster allows you to customize your setup any way you want. Flexible open-door function: Customize your setup so that all the units switch off when door is opened. (Specific applications can also be customized based on the customer s needs) Our network system can set the individual temperature for each unit in your network. Temperatures can be set by connecting to the network (there is a single setting for all the units) or directly to the unit (when one or several units are working under different temperature settings in one network). This allows units that are cooling a separate/isolated cabinet system to be included in the network. These units could, for example, react to their own temperature situation, while at the same time set off system-wide alarms and take on the cabinet and alarm temperatures of the network. Our simplified connection: If the network connection fails on one or several units, the affected unit/units would continue to work as a standalone, while the other units will continue working as a network system. Our network system uses an isolated connection, which will protect the units and the network if, for example, a power-surge affects one of the units. The system network will isolate the problem so that the network s other units are not comprised. Flexmaster has many standard functions, which can, among other things, record the unit s working hours and the number of compressor cycles. Temperatures and any disturbances are stored for 48 hours and can be viewed on a PC or laptop, allowing you to completely monitor your network. 14
