Specifications Lifting Capacity Lowered Pad Height Raised Pad Height Shipping Weight 6,000 lbs / 2,722 kg 5" / 127 mm 19.75" / 501.75 mm 82 lbs / 37 kg Components The following figure shows the major components of the Jack. The major components of the Jack include: Handle: Lets you move the Jack around. Handle Grip: Turn the Handle Grip to control the raising and lowering of the Jack. Turn the Handle Grip clockwise to raise the Lifting Arm by pumping the Handle. Turn the Handle Grip counterclockwise to lower the Lifting Arm. WARNING The further you turn the Handle Grip counterclockwise (to the left), the faster the Lifting Arm lowers. Be careful not to turn the Handle Grip counterclockwise too far, as the vehicle on the Jack could come down too fast, potentially damaging the vehicle or injuring persons nearby. Saddle: Holds the Saddle Pad. Saddle Pad: Contacts the lifting point of the vehicle you are raising. Lifting Arm: Moves the vehicle up and down. Wheels and Casters: Let you easily move the Jack. Hydraulic System: Provides power to the Jack; comes fully functional. Ranger Floor Jack 5 P/N 5900393 July 2017 Rev. B

Setup The Jack comes mostly assembled; all you need to do is to set up the Handle. To set up your Jack: 1. Use the screw to connect the two halves of the Handle. 2. Insert the bottom of the Handle into the Handle Sleeve. Make sure the bottom of the Handle goes all the way down into the Handle Sleeve. The bottom of the Handle needs to fit over the top of the release valve or the Jack will not work correctly. 3. Insert the screw into the Handle just above the Handle Sleeve and screw it in; this holds the Handle in place. 4. Turn the Handle Grip clockwise (to the right) until it stops. You only need to use a moderate amount of force; do not twist it too hard. 5. Pump the Handle to make sure the Jack is working. The Lifting Arm should go up. If not, purge air from the Hydraulic System. If you continue to have problems, refer to Troubleshooting for assistance. Operation This section describes how to raise and lower a vehicle. WARNING To raise a vehicle: Only use the Jack on a hard, flat, dry surface. 1. Move the vehicle to the desired location. 2. Put the vehicle into park and put on the parking brake. If the vehicle is a manual transmission, put it in a gear, not in neutral. Chock the wheels if desired. 3. Position the Jack under the vehicle, with the Saddle Pad under a designated lifting point. 4. Turn the Handle Grip clockwise until it stops; do not overtighten. 5. Pump the Handle up and down. The longer the pump, the more the Lifting Arm goes up. 6. Stop pumping when the vehicle is at the desired height. Go slightly higher than the height of the jack stands you plan to use to support the vehicle. Refer to bendpak.com/shop-equipment/jack-stands/ for more information about jack stands that are available from BendPak Ranger. 7. Place the jack stands under the vehicle at locations recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. WARNING Do not get under the vehicle without it being supported by jack stands. The Jack is not designed to maintain heavy loads for long periods of time. Do not try to put jack stands under both ends of a vehicle at the same time. 8. Turn the Handle Grip counterclockwise to lower the Jack, lowering the vehicle onto the jack stand. 9. When the vehicle is on the jack stands, move the Jack out of the way. Ranger Floor Jack 6 P/N 5900393 July 2017 Rev. B

To lower a vehicle: 1. Position the Jack under the vehicle, with the Saddle Pad under a designated lifting point. 2. Turn the Handle Grip clockwise, then pump the Handle to raise the jack. 3. Keep pumping until the vehicle is fully lifted off of the jack stands. 4. Remove the jack stands from under the vehicle. Make sure there is nothing else under the vehicle. If there is, move it out of the way. 5. Slowly turn the Handle Grip counterclockwise to lower the Jack, which lowers the vehicle to the ground. Maintenance This section describes how to maintain your Jack. To maintain your Jack: Storing. Store your Jack in the fully lowered position; this protects the Jack from corrosion. Daily. Keep the Jack clean. Dirt, rust, and so on can cause slow movement or rapid jerks, both of which damage internal components. Make sure all labels are in place and visible. Weekly. Inspect the Jack for cracked welds, hydraulic fluid leaks, missing or damaged parts. Monthly. Lubricate the Jack with light oil. Monthly. Check the hydraulic fluid level. Fill as necessary. Every three months. Fully clean and lubricate the Jack. To purge air from the hydraulic system: 1. Turn the Handle Grip counterclockwise; lower the Lifting Arm to the ground. 2. Pump the Handle eight full strokes. 3. Turn the Handle Grip clockwise. 4. Pump the Handle until the Lifting Arm reaches maximum height; pump several times more to remove any trapped air. 5. Carefully pinch the fluid fill plug to release trapped air. 6. Turn the Handle Grip counterclockwise; lower the Lifting Arm to the ground. Use force if needed. 7. Turn the Handle Grip clockwise; check for proper pump action. It may be necessary to perform this procedure more than once to purge all of the air. To check hydraulic fluid levels: 1. Turn the Handle Grip counterclockwise to fully lower the Jack. You may need to push it down. 2. Remove the fluid fill plug. 3. Stand Jack in vertical position with Handle down. The hydraulic fluid should be level with the bottom of fill hole. If not, top it off. Do not overfill. Only add new, clean hydraulic fluid. 4. Replace the fluid fill plug. Ranger Floor Jack 7 P/N 5900393 July 2017 Rev. B

Troubleshooting Issue Jack does not lift to full height. Jack does not hold load. Jack does not lower. Jack feels spongy when lifting. Action to Take Check hydraulic fluid level; top off if low. Check for leaks in the Hydraulic System; fix them if found. Add additional hydraulic fluid if necessary. Purge air from the Hydraulic System. Check hydraulic fluid level; top off if low. Purge air from the Hydraulic System. If you continue to have problems with your Jack, call Ranger Products at (805) 933-9970 or visit www.bendpak.com/support/.
