C-Tronic SUSPENSION Carlsson C-Tronic SUSPENSION Intelligent lowering The Carlsson adapter system (plug & play) The plug & play character of our unique Carlsson adapter system makes installation quick and easy. What this means for customers is a short fitting time, and reduced mounting costs as a result. Two different types of control system; only one device needed for all vehicles with Airmatic and with ABC chassis Using just two different devices, it s possible to cover the entire range of Mercedes-Benz vehicle models fitted with Airmatic and ABC chassis. Sporty appearance thanks to an LWR placement with a maximum of 30 mm Independently adjustable for the front and rear axle to a variety of levels down to 30 mm. Drivers can be confident that this LWR placement will give the vehicle a significantly sportier appearance. Intelligent assimilation of spring travel But the Carlsson C-Tronic SUSPENSION does more than just lower the centre of gravity. It also uses a sophisticated technology to enable the vehicle to interact intelligently with the actual road conditions. On a poor stretch of road, or in the event of persistently heavy compression, the height of the vehicle is automatically readjusted to ensure that the necessary reserve of spring travel required for preserving driving comfort is maintained. Reduced roll means better driving dynamics For the driver, the effects of the C-Tronic LWR placement come in the form of reduced body roll and a much greater agility in handling. In other words, the C-Tronic SUSPENSION also means greater driving pleasure. At the same time, because less air is able to flow beneath the vehicle, there is a reduction in aerodynamic drag and lift.
