Projects demonstrating GIBB s Power and Energy Services South African Renewable Energy Programme Private clients South Africa Rural Electrification Schemes Eskom Site assessment, preliminary design, preparation of tender documentation bid preparation and construction monitoring as part of the Department of Energy s renewable energy procurement process for >150MW of wind and solar power projects. Design of the network, tender preparation, GIBB was also responsible for the installation supervision and project management for a range of rural electrification schemes across the Eastern Cape. Port Harcourt Rivers State Government Port Harcourt, Nigeria The development of an energy master plan that included gas and electricity as part of the broad integrated infrastructure urban renewal programme for Port Harcourt in Nigeria. Eskom Capital Expansion Projects Eskom South Africa Part of a joint venture providing multi-disciplinary project management, engineering and design services to the Kusile and Medupi thermal power generation stations (4800MW each). 3

Greenpoint Stadium 2010 World Cup (Package 1) City of Cape Town Cape Town, South Africa Waste to Energy WTE Johannesburg, South Africa Electrical engineering and stadium lighting design as part of the joint venture responsible for development of the Cape Town stadium. Perform a pre-feasibility study and draft a business case for the production of energy from sterilised medical waste.
