HIGH QUALITY WATER JETS FOR DEMANDING APPLICATIONS Alamarin-Jet is a global supplier of high quality water jet propulsion units. As our jets are designed for operation in an artic and rocky archipelago, we can promise excellent performance and endurance, even for the most demanding needs and conditions. Alamarin water jets have revolutionary features. A raw water outlet, impeller duct, conical housing and grease lubricated rear bearing are standard on most models. Different drive and adaptor flanges are available for various shaft models. Installation inserts are available for simple and correct installation. SELECTING THE JET To ensure the correct choice of jet type for each application, it is essential to start with evaluating the overall vessel design. Once being supplied with the critical information effecting performance - boat type; hull design, characteristics and material; speed requirement; engine type - we provide a calculation indicating the expectable vessel speed and our jet model recommendation. If available, a general arrangement drawing and hull resistance data make predictions even more accurate. You can provide us with this information by filling in an Application Questionnaire (AQ) available via our website or from an Alamarin-Jet representative. REVERSE DEFLECTOR - The reverse deflector (also referred to as the bucket) is used to reverse the flow of water after the nozzle, enabling the vessel to reverse INSPECTION HATCH - Allows the operator to inspect the inside of the jet in case of blockage for example STEERING NOZZLE - Directs the water flow and is used to steer the vessel DRIVE FLANGE- Where the engine or motor is connected to the water jet via a driveshaft STATOR - Straightens the flow of water after the impeller IMPELLER - Mixed flow impeller increases the flow of the water which enters through the intake INTAKE & GRASS RAKE - Water enters through the intake, a specially designed grass rake protects the water jets internal parts from large objects entering through the opening

AJ 160 AJ 180/185 The AJ 160 is the smallest jet in the Alamarin range, with the majority of applications in luxury pleasure tenders and small commercial vessels. AJ 160 is the only commercially rated waterjet of its size on the market, as with all Alamarin-Jet products there are no limits on operational profiles. Features include: Conical impeller housing which gives maximum impeller lifetime with adjustment to increase efficiency and performance. Grease lubricated main and rear bearing which allow dry running of the jet without the need to lubricate with water. Mechanical or electrical deflector for simple integration in vessel systems. The AJ 180 and AJ 185 are almost identical, except that the AJ 185 has an additional tunnel extension which allows for a larger impeller. AJ 180 and AJ 185 are often used in both leisure and commercial applications, most commonly used in SOLAS applications due to the low mainentance procedures and importantly grease lubricated bearings. As with all Alamarin-Jet products there are no limits on operational profiles. COMBI-FRAME AJ 245 The COMBI-FRAME is a patented frame and installation method designed and developed by Alamarin-Jet Oy. The revolutionary jet design allows for both LONG TAIL and SHORT TAIL installation methods, meaning that the greater part of the jet can be situated either inside or outside the hull. This unique feature allows the designer/boat builder to fine tune a vessels design to ensure that weight distribution and engine location are fully optimised. This also allows the large inspection hatch to be located outside or inside the vessel, a key point when looking at operational maintenance in different conditions. Another benefit of the Combi-Frame design is installation is simplified in the case of repowering from another jet or from a sterndrive application. Other key designs points are the inclusion of an Integrated Hydraulic Steering Cylinder, Integrated Hydraulic Oil Cooler, and Replaceable Conical Stainless Steel Impeller Wear Ring. All features are designed to assist in simplifying installation and operation. Due to special stator and steering nozzle design the steering response is exceptionally good. The COMBI-FRAME is a patented frame and installation method designed and developed by Alamarin-Jet Oy. Designed to be the best, AJ 245 is the most efficient water jet in its size range, giving the highest cavition margin and highest bollard pull values compared to its competitive products. Additional features : Integrated Hydraulic Steering Cylinder, Integrated Hydraulic Oil Cooler, and Replaceable Conical Stainless Steel Impeller Wear Ring. AJ 288 AJ 285 The AJ 288 is a lightweight, compact and highly efficient commercial waterjet. Cavitation limits are the highest in class due to Alamarin-Jets leading hydrodynamic design, without reducing top speed capabilities. The AJ 288 is designed for long tail installation, which a means the jet body is located outside the hull. This installation method maximises the available space onboard the vessel by allowing the engine to be moved further aft. This is also beneficial for higher top speed as the vessels centre of gravity can also be moved further towards the transom. As with all Alamarin-Jets the AJ 288 features a conical impeller housing and grease lubricated rear bearing. It also features an oil lubricated main bearing and automatic grease lubrication unit for the rear bearing as standard. The AJ 285 is the newest jet in the COMBI-FRAME series. The COMBI-FRAME is a patented frame and installation method designed and developed by Alamarin-Jet Oy. Following the success of AJ 245 many customers requested the combi-frame installation method for larger, more powerful vessels. AJ 285 is suitable for engines up to 500HP. Applications include workboats, military vessels, pleasure craft and many more. Additional features : Integrated Hydraulic Steering Cylinder, Integrated Hydraulic Oil Cooler, and Replaceable Conical Stainless Steel Impeller Wear Ring. AJ 340 INTELLIGENT OPERATION The AJ 340 is a lightweight, compact and highly efficient commercial waterjet. Cavitation limits are the highest in class due to Alamarin-Jets leading hydrodynamic design, without reducing top speed capabilities. AJ 340 is suitable for large military and commercial fast craft, as well as pleasure craft applications. As with all Alamarin-Jets the AJ 340 features a conical impeller housing. It also features an oil lubricated main bearing and integrated oil cooler. Several specialised installation options are available for AJ 340, please contact your Alamarin-Jet representative for further details. Alamarin Jet IO is a total propulsion system for twin installation jet boats. The boat can be operated with IO in all situations, whether in open water travelling at speed or when slowly manoeuvring in tight spaces and docking. Alamarin Jet IO is a simple and intuitive solution which makes manoeuvring effortless. The simple, robust nature of the design means it is an affordable solution for smaller boats as well. A hi-tech colour display informs the user about system status and is used for commissioning and tuning the system.
