Generator: Electrical: One (1) 12KW commercial diesel generator with remote start and 37 gallon fuel tank. The generator shall be installed between the front landing gear with access door for service. The entire drop face and door faces shall be aluminum tread bright. Generator shall be 120/240 volt single phase with quiet housing, exhaust shall be above the roof of the trailer with exhaust cap. The shore power capability will be a simple plug and play system. If you run on generator, the interior plug would be plugged into the generator connection and if shore power is available, the shore power plug would take the place of the generator plug. No transfer switch required. One (1) 100-amp load center with a plug and play generator to shore power connection point. The shore power connection shall have an access door through the gooseneck floor. 36'0 shore power cable shall be provided with breaker connection plug and raw wires in which customer to tap into disconnect on location. Total of 40 All cable installations must comply with BICSI standards. Jack wiring will conform to the TIA/EIA 568B standard. Cabling will be installed in all locations according to SCDMVprovided drawings. All construction must use Mohawk-branded plenum rated cable. All data connections and wiring must use blue cabling and blue jacks. All jacks, mounting boxes, and other infrastructure hardware must be Panduit-branded. All runs that penetrate walls must pass through the walls and spaces in sleeves. Install bushings on all conduit entry and exit points for cable transit through conduit. Provide a 24 inch service loop at the data rack on each installed cable. Awarded contractor shall terminate data connections in telecom closet on contractor provided Panduit high density 48 port patch panel in data cabinet/ rack. Awarded contractor shall provide cable management hardware and utilize same on walls and in the data cabinet/ rack where terminations occur. Where data cabling is run to the slide out area of the trailer cabling will be run in Gleason PowerTrak GRP 132-II-3.7 or SCDMV approved equal with a length appropriate for the slide and wall mount. Minimum radius for PowerTrak will be 3.7. Awarded contactor will connect the data cabinet/rack to the grounding point in the telecom closet with #6 wire. Awarded contractor shall terminate, test, and label with machine-printed labels on all cabling runs. Awarded Contract shall provide test results to SCDMV of finished cable runs. All data jacks and panel appearances shall be numbered and labeled. All data jack labeling shall be machine labeled according to format D-xx where D denotes data and xx the cabling run number and port assignment on the patch panel in the telecom closet. Printers Copier / fax Orthorater Testing equipment Safe Additional Equipment: Insurance Requirements: Warranty: 240 volt (12kw) Onan (Or SCDMV Approved Equal) quiet diesel with remote start and 37 gallon tank - (Same make and model as the generator mounted in the trailer). This generator will serve as a backup and will not be mounted on the trailer at the time of delivery. Submit a copy of your liability insurance certificate with your bid. The original warranty from the manufacturer of the trailer plus six months on any work done to customize the trailer. The original warranty will be with the manufacturer and the customized work will be with the awarded contractor. Additional Requirements: 1. No deviation from these specifications without prior SCDMV Project Manager Approval. Any exceptions must be listed on a separate page detailing the exception and a complete description of what the bidder intends to furnish. 2. Offerors shall submit with their bid the name, address and telephone number of three business references. 3. SCDMV reserves the right to make at least three inspections of the trailer during production. The final inspection shall be scheduled within seven days prior to trailer completion and shipment. All trips will be at the SCDMV s expense. 4. SCDMV shall conduct an inspection of the trailer within seven working days after delivery to assure proper compliance with the requirements. 5. Approval for payment shall be authorized upon determination of satisfactory inspection within net 30 days. In the event of a finding of non-compliance, the awarded contractor shall be properly notified in writing to correct the problem. 6. The awarded contractor shall provide training to SCDMV project stakeholders on the proper operation and use of the trailer upon delivery.
