XFSW: Extreme Enclosed and Gasketed Industrial Low/High Bay The rugged and versatile XFSW creates an energy-saving solution that yields up to 52% savings when compared to traditional HID lighting systems. Features Maintenance XFSW is easy to install, relamp, and maintain. Multiple long life fluorescent lamps mean you don't need to open the fixture nearly as often as single lamp, shorter life HID sources. And when it does require service, the tethered lens and swing-down gear tray makes the task faster. Gasketing & Latches The integrity of the fixture seal is achieved by a pour in place closed-cell polyurethane gasket and 12 captive stainless steel latches. Optional interlocking two-part latches offer a tamperresistant alternative (order option TP ). One Piece housing Expert engineering of XFSW's fiberglass reinforced polyester housing provides a 5VA (fl) (UL 94 listed material) flame rating, making it suitable as an electrical wireway, as well as chemical resistant. The IP67-rated enclosure is excellent for outdoor use and tough enough for areas exposed to UV light and water. The housing skin cures dry, forming a non-stick, low-water absorbing surface that will not delaminate or promote fungal growth. Motion Sensor The factory-installed, wet location, IP65 rated motion sensor is adjustable for heights between 2' and 4', and operates reliably between -4 and 158 F. Versatile Versatile and tough, this 14" wide, IP67-rated, enclosed and gasketed fixture is the right choice for freezers, food processing, and a host of other wet and hose-down high bay applications. XFSW excels in outdoor areas and parking garages. XFSW takes the cold as well as the heat. Lower Operating Costs A new member of the createchange family of watt-stingy luminaires, XFSW brings energy-saving fluorescent technology to traditionally HID applications, with the same great advantages that has made Columbia LH high bays so successful. You can approach new construction or HID relighting projects with the same familiar and attractive payback benefits. Lenses The high impact acrylic lens allows 91.5% light transmission and provides lasting clarity and resistance to weathering (ASTM D13). An optional UV-stabilized polycarbonate lens has a light transmission of 87%, low flammability, and a wider temperature range than acrylic. High quality components generate up to 15 C improvement in ballast temperatures. Swing Down Gear Tray The revolutionary hinged gear tray allows easy access on either side of the reflector. Lamps remain installed and the tethered lens can hang while ballast and wiring are effortlessly serviced. Installation The XFSW can be suspended with chains or optional aircraft cable from fixed mounting points at each corner. The fixture is supplied with wire hanger brackets to accept chain (by others) or the secure aircraft cable accessory with carabiner style latches. Options The wiring options include F3C8W, consisting of a factory installed water tight connector and stripped 8' cord. The F3C8WQ (shown below) is the same as the F3C8W but with a water tight line voltage quick disconnect.
