Clean-Aire Filtration Systems HEMCO Clean-Aire Filtration Systems are specifically designed to remove particulate and/or fumes from the exhaust air stream of a laboratory UniFlow fume hood. The filter systems effectively clean the air of contaminants prior to discharging into the atmosphere to meet EPA regulations. Also, in some cases, depending on the contaminant, the exhaust can re-circulate back to the lab. HEMCO filtration systems are offered as a Clean-Aire Pak or Clean-Aire Bag-in Bag-out Filter Pak. A HEPA filter is provided to collect particulate, a carbon filter is provided to adsorb fumes and odors, or a combination of the two filters can be assembled as one module. Fume & Vapor Clean Aire Scrubbers Scrubber systems offer high efficiency and minimal maintenance on meeting pollution control requirements. Clean Aire Scrubber Provides excellent air pollution control for water soluble fumes and odors by moving contaminated air through a filter pack media exposing over forty square feet of surface per cubic foot. Contaminant is collected on filter media surface and rinsed off with water. Excess water is then mechanically removed and cleaned air is released. When conditions require, chemical additives can increase absorptive capacity of the scrubber.
