Position the ide ail flat against the vertical jamb. 8.1 lide ottom Guide ail inside the flanges of ide ail. ote that the front of ottom Guide ail has indented grooves and the the front flange of the ide ail is shorter than the back. 8.2 optional threshold transition recess mount only efore screwing down the ottom Guide ail, you may choose to install the Threshold Transition (with Threshold Transition End aps) [8.3]. This part is optional; it protects the bottom guide rail and it is also a nice aesthetic feature. The Transition may be installed toward the interior or exterior of the home. To install, cut the Transition to the door opening width, less 4-1/4 (114mm). nsert the Threshold Transition End aps, slide the lip of the Transition under the ottom Guide ail and secure both profiles with 3 #8 x 3/4 (19mm) Phillips Panhead crews. Position screws 6 inches in from each end and center the middle one. 8.3 F E Profiles of ottom Guide ail and Threshold Transition 9 ecure The ails With crews ecure the ottom Guide ail, Top Guide ail and ide ail with agnet with 3 #8 x 3/4 (19mm) Phillips Panhead crews each. Position screws 6 inches (150mm) in from each end and center the middle one. Pile Opener When installing the ottom and Top Guide ail, use the convenient Pile Opener included with this kit, to temporarily separate the two insect piles. This will make for easier viewing and installation of the screws. 10 djusting the Top ETE GUE & andles djust the Top etainer Guide so that it is positioned at the top of the Pull ar approximately 1/8 (3mm) below the top guide rail. Tighten llen-ead et crew. djust the andle heights by loosening the llen-ead et crew, move the andle as desired and retighten screw. ote: the etainer Guide should OT touch the Top Guide ail when positioned correctly.

Use wedge shims to adjust the ottom Guide until level. EE TO O GE: eplace the mesh using a creen efill Kit. TE LOG GET O OT FULLY EL O TE EE OE OT LOE EVELY: lean the agnets using mild soap and water. clean any debris from inside the ottom Guide. ebris can interfere with closing and smooth screen operation. open the screen and check that the magnet that is located in the Pull ar aligns with the magnetic strip in the ual-ount ide ail with agnet. To alter the alignment remove the #8 x 3/4 (19mm) Phillips Panhead crews for the center of the ual-ount ide ail. Flex the center of the ual-ount ide ail 1/8" - 3/16" (3mm-4mm) toward the outside and then reinstall the #8x 3/4 (19mm) Phillips Panhead crews.
