LSW9 Hydraulic lighting tower The LSW9 is a compact trailer-mounted light tower with a narrow design thought for cost-effective transportation and storage. It is equipped with a 9 meter adjustable with 360-degrees rotation, giving optimum lighting flexibility. The LSW is designed to offer the maximum versatility for a wide range of application. This unit is ideal for light up general job sites, site prep, concrete pours, road and bridge works, and also for whom require quiet operation, such as outdoor events, since it is one of the quietest in its class with a sound level as low as 58 db(a) at 7 meter. Additional Advantages Light fixtures allow more diffused and uniform light coverage for better job site illumination. Lights can be manually adjusted without tools for added convenience. Large accessibility for easy servicing thanks to full-length doors. Easy leveling trough four-point jack stands, which provide stability on uneven terrain and with high wind. Large capacity fuel tank which allows autonomy up to 60 hours of continuous lighting/run time. Reliable diesel engine equipped with glow plugs for long service life and easier cold weather starting. Control panel include a digital hour counter and service receptacles, protected by circuit breakers, for additional power supply.

Some details of the control panel Some details inside of the LSW9: Hot-dip galvanization: Hot-dip galvanization is a protective surface coating, obtained by galvanization. The object is dipped in a bath of fused zinc at a relatively high temperature (about 450 C) and here maintained up to the thermal equilibrium. The protection conferred to the steel is elevated: is obtained a high level of protection against the atmospheric agents (water and UV irradiance) and also against mechanical attacks (greater superficial hardness and thickness of the treatment), penetrating partly also for the first µm under the surface of the steel. The aesthetics result is slightly worse compared to other types of surface treatments, due to a non-perfect uniformity of the color. Galvanized steel is widely used in applications where rust resistance is needed, and is usually identifiable from the crystallization patterning of the surface (often called a spangle ). Electrolytic galvanization: This is an alternative surface coating. In this case the object is dipped in an electrolytic solution of salts of zinc, the temperature of trial is lower. Zinc is deposited on the surface of the steel using electrodes that establish current flowing between the treated part and the solution of salts of zinc. The thickness of the coating is lower in comparison to the hotdip galvanization and lower is also the mechanical resistance due to the less amount of zinc carried over. Lower is the resistance against the atmospheric agents. The positive aspect is the aesthetics one, thanks to a higher brightness and a higher chromatic uniformity of the coating. However, where it is necessary to see detail to recognize a hazard or where error in performing the task could put someone else at risk, for safety purposes as well as to avoid visual fatigue, the figure needs to be increased to that for work requiring the perception of detail. 2- The purpose is to avoid fatigue; the illumination will be suitable to the safety.
