No farm is alike, so we offer three different windrowers with the exact capabilities required for your particular situation. Each model comes standard with reliable ACGO Power engines, for the muscle and endurance to level the field wherever you work. Say hello to the king of the hill. WR9770: There s a new class of 200-HP-plus windrowers, and the Challenger WR9770 has emerged as the king of this hill. With 220 HP, an injection of power in this machine lets you attack heavy crop conditions like winter forage or wet silage hay. And when hilly or rough terrain requires additional horsepower to climb, the new 6.6L AGCO POWER tier IV engine and its four valves per cylinder are everything you need for those high-capacity mowing operations. Everything and then some. Lead the pack. WR9760: Step inside the Challenger WR9760 windrower with its new 4.9L AGCO POWER QuadBoost four-cylinder engine and you ll instantly have more than enough power to run, with unbelievably low operating cost. Armed with the same pumps and drives as the WR9770, this machine still produces 188 HP while being extremely fuel efficient and economical. If fact, you ll find performance that s the same if not better than the previous generation, Challenger SP185C 190 HP models. Easier does it. WR9740: Want to mow or swath at a more traditional pace? The Challenger WR9740 should be more your speed. Even though it still boasts a 4.9L AGCO POWER tier IV engine, this model generates 137 HP. Every Challenger WR Series windrower features precision manufactured AGCO Power engines for optimal power and efficiency. Under this manufacturing process, each engine is balanced to the nearest gram. Normally a hallmark of racing technology, you ll feel the benefits every time you re in the field. Experience reduced vibration and engine wear, translating to greater comfort for the operator and great reliability for the machine. With e3 SCR emission technology, these engines offer the most farmer-friendly approach to meeting EPA standards, with no trade-offs in power, productivity or operating cost. We were the first to introduce SCR emission technology to the ag industry, so it s not surprising that we would perfect it. The new tier IVi engines featured in all models now offer four valves per cylinder and SCR emission technology. These new changes are in addition to specifications previously found on the AGCO POWER tier III engines including: cross-flow cylinder heads, mid-cylinder liner support, air-to-air intercoolers, common rail fuel injection, fracture split connecting rods and balanced rotating groups. These updates result in better power delivery, reduced operating noise and greater fuel economy. Empty fields. Fuller tanks. Not only do Challenger WR Series windrowers cut hay, they cut fuel costs, too. Pair the largest fuel tank in the industry, at 130 gallons, with e3 SCR technology and not only will you run all day, you ll run all day for less money. All in Good Measure Keep tabs on all the action with the C1000 monitor that monitors fuel economy by three different measurements, all in real-time acres per gallon, acres per hour and gallons per hour. Cut heat buildup and help keep your windrower s cooling system running at optimum efficiency with our self-cleaning V-Cool System. It s designed to keep itself clear of debris so you don t have to do the dirty work. Ultimately, you ll experience reduced service time, optimized efficiency and save on fuel. Because the engine radiator and hydraulically driven coolers are arranged in a unique V-shape, airflow makes a single pass through each element rather than passing through multiple elements on a typical stacked design. The system s temperature-activated, variable speed fan increases cooling efficiency by lowering rpm when the system needs less air. Additionally, the hydraulically driven fan automatically reverses every 15 minutes, or sooner if required, to forcefully clean the intake screen while you work to eliminate the need for rotary screens or brushes. You ll get the best windrower auto guidance in the industry with a complete, integrated autosteering system that works seamlessly with your windrower monitor. It uses advanced satellite navigation to steer the windrower s ground drive pumps, removing much of the strain of field operations and leaving the operator free to focus their attention on optimizing performance settings and monitoring work more closely. Running up to 16 MPH, this highly advanced but simple-to-use automatic steering system will help you reduce input costs as well as operator fatigue. Our deluxe semi-active air suspension seat features cooling and heating, side-to-side plus fore and aft movement with adjustable hydraulic suspension. This plus our GlideRider rear axle suspension and air suspension cab provides serious comfort. Work smarter. And harder with the C1000 Monitor. The C1000 Monitor contains exclusive technology that s years ahead of the competition. Right from the console, you can control all the main functions with the push of a button, from header speed to flotation to the steering itself. The C1000 allows you to track header load, monitor tasks and troubleshoot problems all from the comfort of the cab. While operating the windrower, the operator can access four main screens including the main work screen, engine information, instant and average fuel efficiency, as well as accumulated job totals. Dual air bag cab suspension comes in handy when crossing deep pivot tracks, borders and bumpy conditions. It comes standard on the WR9770 model and is optional on the WR9740 and WR9760 models. GlideRider Rear Axle Suspension The rear axle suspension is composed of a solid, oscillating rear axle beam attached to the frame with shock absorbers and a spring cushion. It offers enough give while still being strong enough to handle pivot tracks and irrigation borders, reducing bounce, decreasing the jostling of the operator and boosting field speeds. Technology that ll steer you in the right direction. We know you take a hands-on approach when it comes to running your Challenger WR Series windrower. By controlling the hydraulic steering pumps electronically, these machines are easier to drive at faster speeds without compromising control and stability. If you re determined to bring higher productivity and faster field speeds and cut thick crops with less daily maintenance, there s no faster way to do it than by driving a Challenger WR Series windrower equipped with a RazorBar disc header. These headers bring higher productivity and faster field speeds and require less daily maintenance. With an industry-exclusive low-profile 16 RazorBar cutterbar, each gear assembly and idler gear can be individually removed without taking the whole cutterbar apart. And there s no need to split the gear modules for servicing. Easy to unbolt and reassemble, the idler gears and pins are removed through the top of the module, so there s also no need to remove the rock guards for servicing. Conditioner Rolls Crimp vs. Crush. Competitive windrowers still feature systems that condition your crop by crushing both the stems and the leaves to accelerate drying time. But damaging the leaves means lost nutrients, lesser quality hay and lower feed value. With a single set of steel-onsteel conditioner rolls and header speed control, the 9195 RazorBar header crimps stems every three to four inches. To speed drying time and further preserve leaf quality, our 9196 model features the TwinMax Advanced Conditioning System, which double crimps the crop through a total of four conditioning rolls, resulting in a crimp approximately every one to two inches. Conditioner roll pressure is maintained by a hydraulic roll tensioning system, for consistent roll pressure, effective crimping and the best quality hay possible. 18 RazorBar Header

Our RazorBar cutterbars feature a low-profile, spur gear cutterbed that s thinner in design for closer cutting so you can slice through lush alfalfa, tangled grass and tall Sudan with ease. Our improved, extended turbulence reduction roll features built-in side augers to produce better windrows with fewer drives and a better cut in light crop. Dual hydraulic motors, which drive the cutterbar from each end, provide even torque load across the entire width of the cutterbar for increased reliability. RazorBar Header 19

Turn any Challenger WR Series model into a highcapacity swather by simply adding a Challenger 5200 Series draper header. Choose from five centerdelivery header widths or three double swath models. These shiftable draper heads let you position the swath at the center or to the left or right side of the header for double swaths. Because our sickle drive is hydraulically driven, it stays in rotation at all times, so there are no peak starting and stopping loads. That means no matter how close you re cutting, the 5200 Series delivers smooth, clean performance in cereals, grass, forage or specialty crops. With fewer shafts, belts and sheaves, it also demands far less maintenance. To reduce excessive wear on the knifeback and the wear blades, we utilize a new SCH Roller Guide that requires less power, reduces friction on the knifehead and enhances overall cutting performance. Top of the stack Sickle Bar Headers. Leave it to the company that invented the sickle bar header to provide the smooth, clean cut you demand. Available in 14-, 16- and 18-foot cutting widths, Challenger s 9126 header features our trademark dual augers, along with a double sickle and a single pair of conditioner rolls. Available in 14- and 16-foot cutting widths, the 9146 model boasts our exclusive TwinMax Advanced Conditioning System, which features two pairs of independently controlled, steel-on-steel conditioner rolls for quicker drying, higher nutrient retention and simply better hay in every bale. Our hydraulic roll tensioning system featured on all sickle bar headers maintains consistent conditioner roll pressure for effective crimping and the highest quality hay.
